Easter week deals - who else is waiting?

That's great news on the dates! Anyone know what the deal is? I saw you can't add dining, which is fine because we aren't doing the plan for this trip.

I sent a request for a price too them but I still have not heard back. Anyone know how long it takes for them to get back to you.

I received a quote the same day I requested it - maybe 8 hours later. This was about a week ago for their 4th of July special. I also got quick replies to other emails I sent. This is the first time I used them and have been very happy with their service!

I think with the tickets included it's a pretty good deal. They discount the room and the tickets both.

We found Easter Sunday flights for the whole family at decent prices. $140 each from Islip on SW for mom & pop, $128 each for me and DH from Philly on Air Tran, and $109 from DC on Air Tran for my brother. We're all returning different days, so we wanted to find the flights there initially! Maybe we'll never leave.

I got my quote from Magical but the problem with the price is we have 5 in our family so it is deluxe or two rooms at a value. Also you can not add the dining plan. We are not fans of vlaue resorts and deluxe is way out of our price range. We also LOVE the dining plan and it always saves us $$. With this package dining is not an option.

I am hoping if they are offering discounts through an agency, bookings must be a little light. They would not offer anyone discounts if bookings were peak. Hopefully they extend a discount to visa or GP.

Fingers are crossed.

You know 5 can stay at port Orleans riverside in one room right? 2queen beds and a pull down twin Murphry (sp??) bed. My 5 fit just fine and the beds are queen sized. One bathroom stinks but it is the cheapest way possible for a family of 5 to travel if you are going to stay on property.

If you are still waiting on a quote, I would encourage you to resubmit. They did have agents affected by the superstorm Sandy. Usually you should always hear within 24-72 hours. And yes, as far as I know they are offering the only discounts for Easter Week right now. Resorts are All Star Sports, Wilderness Lodge and Polynesian. The packages are resort and tickets and are nicely discounted off rack rate. They do not include the dining plan this time around. If you google the agency it is the first one that comes up or you can go to the Tikimans's website and follow the link from there. Hope that helps!

Disney isn't offering a discount through Magical Vacations Travel. The agency strategically purchases room blocks from Disney during high season travel dates that are typically blacked out for GP discounts (Easter, Thanksgiving, etc.). When Magical Vacations offers a discount, you can almost bet a better one will not come out. It has nothing to do with light bookings. In fact, it's the opposite. They are just buying in bulk and passing the savings on to their clients at high season times.

so they get a discount for buying in bulk?

I'm hoping to go Easter of 2014. We just got back from a trip during Thanksgiving week. Fun, but crowded, and not as warm as I'd have liked. Still, it was Disney, and thus lovely.

I would be willing to arrive early, like on the last day of a promotion if they offer them NEAR the holiday weeks...

We might take a Spring Break trip. We would be there March 30-April 7. Would love a discount.

I wish the quote I recieved was a value to us. For a family of five it is an increase from the lowest available room -POR. If we were a smaller family we would jump on it.
