Brent, I hope you feel better and that the doctors figure things out.

I received this text from Dave at about 8pm last night.

Goodness. I'm glad Tammy is ok. They've had a lot going on lately.

This could be like a disdad pentathalon.
1. Kitchen Sink
2. Pedal around boardwalk on the Surrey Bikes
3. Drink X cups of Beverly
4. Mission Space Orange.
5. Watch a 360 film (china or Canada)

Any way you can work Primeval Hurl into this?

:rotfl:

When Canada was first founded there was 4 provinces - Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Upper Canada, and Lower Canada. Upper Canada later became Ontario and Lower Canada became Quebec.

Thanks for stopping by for today's history lesson.

Next up, a history lesson on the evolution of penguins?

Well, I like where you're going with this, but maybe the 360 film should be replaced by Soarin. If you stop moving and let the stomach contents settle, that might make it too easy. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Or replace with TOT. Shaken, not stirred.

‘Morning all…

I received this text from Dave at about 8pm last night.

Deer are sooooo stupid. Prayers for Dave and Tammy.

While I’m thinking about it… prayers for Brent and his girl as well.
While I’m still thinking about it… Prayers for everyone.
I think we can all use a little bit of help.

Morning David and all the Dads!

I have been here for 20 minutes or so. Can I go home now and play xbox?

matt

You have my permission. I saw where Norm agreed.
Motion proposed, seconded and passed.

During the olympics someone suggested that the Decathalon would be a lot more interesting if it were 10 sports chosen at random. I think this would make it so much more interesting. Fencing to diving to gymnastics to boxing etc..

Rather then “Iron’Man” that would be a “Renaissance-Man’ competition.
Would certainly up the entertainment factor (and the potential for failure).

A true test of internal fortitude.
Again… I’ll not be doin’ in, but y’all are welcome to give it a try.

I don't even know if we'll have time to go to Beaches and Cream... but now I'm more motivated than ever to try to make it happen. :rolleyes1

Any way you can work Primeval Hurl into this?

Nice idea, but in the time it would take to get over to AK your innards might settle a bit. Better to keep the pressure up. But then again…

If you were to
1. Kitchen Sink
2. Pedal around boardwalk on the Surrey Bikes
3. Drink X cups of Beverly
4. Mission Space Orange.
5. Run to AK
6. Primeval Hurl
7. Run to HS
8. ToT
9. ToT
10. ToT

How about that for a Kitchen Sink / /Beverly chalange?

:thumbsup2

Too tired for ice cream?!? Luckily I'm only doing the half marathon - gotta save my energy for Ohana that night.
We have San Angel Inn on Saturday night. Dw scheduled the meals and mexican before the marathon is probably her way of saying she's unhappy with the number of races I'm running.

Ohana is our post marathon meal. I am hoping to leave giant piles of shrimp tails in my wake.

I don't even know if we'll have time to go to Beaches and Cream... but now I'm more motivated than ever to try to make it happen. :rolleyes1

I heard the 360 film made some people sick, but your probably right Soarin or test track might be better. I was worried there'd be lines for those.

HS is easily within jogging distance. How about
1. Mission Space
2. Test Track
3. Drink X cups of Beverly
4. Soarin
5. Jog from Future World to the Boardwalk area
6. KItchen Sink (aka the world largest palette cleanser)
7. Surrey bike ride.
8. Jog to HS
9. Rock and Roller coaster
10. Tower of terror.

Morning....

Good Luck, Hope it's nothing serious:goodvibes

It's good that they are not wanting to miss anything

Yeah, I never wanted to go to Dr. House if I got sick. He tried to kill the patient for 55 minutes before getting the right dx and treatment. :lmao:

Today's tests were all with breathing/lung capacity, trying to get to the source of the coughing fits. Diagnosis so far will require me to get puffers, but I have another test in a few weeks to confirm it. Lungs themselves have checked out. Next week I get the bronchiostomy (??whatever) Where they stick the camera down my throat and check the airways for abnormalites, make sure it is okay. Doc thinks though, it was what we first expected, that the force and pure power of my coughing ruptured blood vessels, causing the blood.

Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes, it is apprciated, and not falling on deaf ears either. I am finallly trying to get my health in check after being rather lassiez-faire about it. I'm also more serious about the blood pressure issue, I didn't think it was really that serious untill now, but I've been clued in by a lot of nurses and doctors about it.

You must be talking about one of those Upper Canadians.

Ya, probably one of them that doesn't have "new" in the city or province name. Or did I miss a "u" in there somewhere

Well there are what, 4 regular Canadians on here? And I for one am nemisisseseses free. :rotfl2:

I received this text from Dave at about 8pm last night.

Prayers to Dave and Tammy....yikes, this deer thing is out of control

Upper Canada is what the part in orange was called a long time ago.

250px-Canada_upper.png

Now we use it to poke fun at people in Ontario.

Speaking of which, Brian I see there was a championship parade in Toronto yesterday. Have you ever seen one of those before?

:rotfl2:

Ah yes, I loved that at school, Upper Canada is the lower part, Lower Canada is the upper part. :sad2:.

So wait, does that mean I am in Upper-Upper Canada and Brian is Lower Upper Canada? :headache:

I'm not sure which parade....the Argos or Torontoians celebrating their idiot mayor's been booted from office.

Am I being punked? Upper Canada is on the bottom of Canada? Is this the canadian equivalent of calling a frozen place "Greenland"

That's the Danish, or Vikings or whatever, not us....

Ok, I've put some thought into that one, and I think it will actually be a part of the Decathlon that will hit all 4 parks...

1. Kitchen Sink
2. Attempt to break the DDC Beverly record
3. Mission Space Orange
4. Sum of all thrills... and no sissy designs
5. Eat a Turkey leg at DHS
6. Tower of Terror
7. Rock n Rollercoaster
8. Primeval Whirl
9. Pork Shank at Gaston's Tavern
10. Teacups while enjoying a Dole Whip

And to celebrate the accomplishment... Dinner at Ohana.

Ohh I had forgotten about Sum of all Thrills. That's a very good inclusion.
Is there any talk of a 4 park challenge at DDC?

It's just like in Ohio - Upper Sandusky is South of Sandusky! Go figure!

And Sandusky doesn't lie in Sandusky County it's in Erie County!

People are idiots. ;)

:rotfl2:
D'oh.... I have seen those.... Usually on tv though :lmao:

But I have been to them in '92 and '93

Go Jays Go!!

Stinks about the income and DVC contract, but worth it. Congrats.
Still won't stop me from asking you questions and perusing the resale listings...

I thought Sandusky was in prison.

There would need to be some challenges to the 4 park attempt... DW and I flew into MCO on a Sunday morning and did Everest at AK, Soarin and drinks around the world at Epcot, and then Splash and Space mountain a few times all before midnight; without much difficulty. So we'd need to make it more difficult than just hitting all 4 parks, imo.

I received this text from Dave at about 8pm last night.
That's scary. Prayers to Tammy and Dave. Glad she seems to be ok.

Too tired for ice cream?!? Luckily I'm only doing the half marathon - gotta save my energy for Ohana that night.
Hey, what time is your ADR?

Any way you can work Primeval Hurl into this?
I was gonna say add this too:
Or replace with TOT. Shaken, not stirred.
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

OUCH! :headache:

Thank goodness that is Saturday night and not Friday night. :thumbsup2

Ohana is our post marathon meal. I am hoping to leave giant piles of shrimp tails in my wake.
Ours too. My goal is to eat all the shrimp they have.

I had a good line here but I decided not to write it. Might be a little too soon. :crazy2:

What is this thing called non-Disney vacation? They do have a Disney resort in Hilton Head, Vero Beach, and Hawaii for those trips.

Can you use APs at the different resorts? If you get APs at WDW, can you use them at DL?

We take non-disney vacations occasionally. For instance, we visited out friends up north in Niagra this summer. Didn't see any penguins or polar bears now that I think of it.

I believe the AP's work at both. Not positive as I have never been to DL.

Another 11 hour day and 100+ miles. Finally caught up on all the posting today. Not many more days until Christmas break.

We were wondering where you were. Thought Stitch might have left the mailbox and taken you out.:rotfl:

Well today's specialist visit has turned into three more appointments now, including tomorrow morning. Another work day missed, just as well, stomach is not keeping much down. :crazy2:

Good news though, this Doc gets right to the point and wants to cover all angles to make sure a proper diagnosis is reached. I like that.

Good luck. I hope they find the problem quickly. Prayers.

Sounds good. I'll bring some bourbon. DW's family had a history of moonshine. Maybe we can set up a still in CJ's yard and sell it for revenue. Philip can add some parts to disguise it.

Is that a truck trailer with moonshine coming out the back? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

That list is sheer perfection... not much to add... but perhaps between ToT and RnRC:

7. Toy Story Mania w/out 3-D glasses with the control in one hand, and massive cupcake from Starring Rolls in the other

Overkill? :confused3
