I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

Just wanted to stop by and say it was good to see you on Friday! Sorry we couldn't stay longer and also that Seth was not being very cooperative for a picture. He was too into the Little Einsteins DVD he was watching (for the 948th time!). Maybe next time he will actually SMILE for you! ;)

I am having so much fun catching up on your trip! This is the first chance I have had since the end of October! Do you remember which store that last set was taken in. I do not know AK as well as the other parks but love that Mickey pirate shirt for DS. Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was Great!!

No problem at all. As many kids as I have been around, I know all about the 'not gonna perform right now' rule that they can impose at will. ;)

It was good to see your mom, too. I am glad you got to see lots of family, but I also know you were probably worn out by Sunday evening!

It's been pretty slow around DIStown lately. Everyone is very busy with real life. It's always good when they get to stop by for a visit. :goodvibes

I will have to go back and look at the pictures. I think the last shop I showed was Beastly Bazaar. You'll have to look in Island Mercantile or some of the other shops now, as Beastly Bazaar is being converted into a character meet & greet.

A few non-Disney park pictures, for those who are interested.

Earlier this month, our second-graders went to the science museum in Nashville. A couple of things gave me some little thoughts of Disney.

First, this, which is self-explanatory.

And this, which reminded me of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin because of the neon colors. We used lazer guns, too.

I found this map interesting.

I don't really like what I see in Northern Alabama.

NOV2012033.jpg

Instead of me moving to AL, I think my girls should move to TN, close to that star. :)

Let's pick a no tornado zone when we build DIStown. :thumbsup2

Our fair city from the upstairs of the museum.

A couple of our teachers practicing to become astronauts, should their teaching careers come to a halt.

A couple of weeks ago, Nashville Zoo brought some animal friends out to see us.

We will be going to the zoo to see many more animals in May, but this is a nice Zoo on Wheels presentation.

This past Friday, I got to see Dawn and Seth for a few minutes when they were on their way from points A, B, and C to points D, E, and F. They try to see many people during the short time they are here, so I was happy for the short visit.

I saw that shirt in the Character Outlet (in St. Augustine) store last weekend. I started to buy one, but they didn't have the size I needed. Probably a good thing, I found a bunch of other stuff that made it home with me ;)

Sunday, the kids were here, along with assorted friends, and we ate at Whispering Canyon. Sort of.

Since I didn't have stick ponies to ride, we made craft stick ponies.

Sorry about the sink full of dishes. A meal like this makes kind of a big mess, and I didn't have any cool saloon doors to cover up the kitchen area. ;)

We had horses named Happy, Black Beauty, and Dazzler, along with a few I don't remember.

Sophie will join in on craft and game fun before we know it!

Here's the restaurant.

Here are some of the 'eats'.

We enjoyed fun and fellowship, and of course, there was much laughter. We missed Jarvis, who went to visit relatives up north.

Maybe that is something we can do next summer when we have a car - go to some of these Disney Outlet stores. ::yes::

Back to Animal Kingdom, as we make our way out of the park.

I am trying to remember if this was the night Brooklynn went to DTD with Jill and John, since I just see Bella in the pool.

Hey MeMom!! Just wanted to drop in and say hi!! I am still reading along, but I just don't get to comment much!

I always enjoy looking at your themed dinner pictures. Makes me super hungry! :)

I just got back from Disney today and am working on catching up! Your meal at Whispering Canyon looks like so much fun! You're so creative. I ate there for the first time in years on this past Thursday for a late breakfast. It tied with Be Our Guest for best meal of the trip.

LOVE your themed Whispering Canyon meal!! What a fun idea to make your own ponies!!
So glad you had a nice visit and family time! Those girls are so dang cute!!

What a wonderful school time, Thanskgiving time,AK and POP time.

Nothing better than family at the holidays. :goodvibes

Oh I LOVE your themed meal. How fun!!!!!!! Looks like a wonderful time. Saloon doors are overrated anyway, they swing and hit people on the you know what. :)

Mr. Porcupine is quite cute!

It was good to see you too! Glad we got to stop by. And like I said, Little Einsteins is taking priority over everything these days, so don't be offended. :rotfl:

That Whispering Canyon food looks yummy! Makes me tomato and pasta soup I brought for lunch seem not-so appealing!

That tornado map is honest to goodness one of the most terrifying things I have ever seen in my life. :scared: And since the word "Alley" (part of "Hoosier Alley") is written right over where my city would be (if the Canada part weren't whited out! ;) ), I guess I'm included there! Makes sense since we are the lightening capital of Canada! It looks like a pretty cool museum though!

What a fun family dinner at the Tennesse branch of the Whispering Canyon!:thumbsup2 I swear, your get-togethers always have the most fun themes! The horse crafts for the kids are so awesome!

That tornado map freaks me out. Those are one thing I am absolutely terrified of - I can handle snow and storms but tornadoes? :scared:

I love your themed get-togethers. And, as always, your pictures from Pop and the parks are making me so excited to be back there!

Maybe that is something we can do next summer when we have a car - go to some of these Disney Outlet stores. ::yes::
Their prices are GREAT! I bet I know an enabler that could give you a ride!

I love your very own Whispering Canyon Cafe! I look forward to doing fun Disney things at home when I have kiddies of my own.

We are so looking forward to seeing Spectro again! :dance3: It was good to see MSEP as a throwback to times long ago, but for us, it could have been a 'one and done', and we would have been happy. For us, we love to hear that Spectro music coming our way! Too bad they couldn't keep both parades, as I know some ae huge MSEP fans, and run them on different nights. Then everyone would be happy!

And while we're talking parades, they need to bring back Stars and Motorcars!!! :cheer2:

ME TOO! Now if it would just hurry up already and be reality. :rotfl: I have heard that rumor steady though - 2013 should bring it back. March-ish I do believe (along with the new daytime parade).

I never got to see Stars & Motorcars! It was running during our trips, but we never saw it. I really wish we would have. DHS needs a new one too.

That porcupine is so cute! Like a raccoon or koala, the cutest ones are the scary ones!

Your WCC party looks like a lot of fun, as always. Delicious eats! Too bad you couldn't just let a Cast Member take your plates away and wash them for you! :goodvibes
