Sorry your ride was so bad with the weather. We hit that at the Halloween party that same night. It rained from about 6-9..it was miserable!

Finally driving OFF Disney property must mean you are so close to getting back ON Disney property.

I hate when those crazy Florida rain storms creep up you fast sometimes.

Ugh, Kathy, I can't remember if I posted recently or not I know I was on your TR and got called out for a job... I know you really must miss your Dad My Abuela passed just before a trip, over 10 years ago, I miss her so much, she practically raised me...and I like to think of her as my Forever Angel

Eagerly awaiting the Marco Island pics!!! We are doing a Beach vacation this Summer before WDW, we love St.Pete's Beach...but I am looking around getting new ideas as well

I will do responses later...wanted to get another update in before I left the office.

I promised some pictures of the condo we stay at:

We were up early...around 7:15 or so becuase Mark had to drive me to Dunkin Donuts where he would get his coffee and I would be meeting Nicki for our shopping excursion.

Pictures I took from the balcony while Mark was in the shower:

I could get used to waking up to that view every day.

We then left for the drive to DD and meeting Nicki (Mark was also going to the AT&T store because his brand new phone we had gotten a week before the trip was not working...I won't even go into that long story).

Nicki pulled up, totally ignored me, and ran to Mark:

We stopped at Starbucks (no pictures...we were so busy talking that I totally forgot), and then drove to Mall number one where we had another coffee while we waited for the stores to open. We did a bit of shopping (got something for Todd, bought some stuff at the Disney outlet store) and then hit Mall number two where we had lunch at Johnny Rocket's as we always do. We did some more shopping.

After shopping, Nicki drove me back to the condo so we could both freshen up/rest before our dinner that evening.

We went to the Grand China Buffet (I'm not sure that is the exact name of it) where they have all you can eat crab legs on Saturday night, along with the regular Chinese food offerings. Again, we were so busy yakking that I got no pictures of our food (I know...I'm a bad DISer...but I promise I did better the next meals).

We stuffed our faces pretty good and then we did get two pictures--one of Mark and Nicki and one of me and Todd:

We bid each other goodnight...it had been a long day of shopping and we were pooped, with plans for the next night's dinner all settled.

Up next, what do we do with our Sunday and what new place do we go for dinner and will we love it?

Love the condo. My biggest complaint about Disney Property is the rooms are just not all that big. Must have been a nice change to stay there.

Mel, I'm so glad you are here. How is Peanut feeling?

I'm glad you were able to catch up and enjoy. My darling hubby and I are as much in love, if not more, since the day we married.

Peanut is finally back to normal, eating well and being generally happy.

That is so sweet.

Unfortuantely, we will only have Andy of our kids. But Mark's dad, sister and brother-in-law are coming too. It will be a little hard as it is the first without Mark's mom and it is my father-in-law's birthday.

I hope you were all able to enjoy Thanksgiving and each other's company, remembering Mark's mom in spirit. This was our first Thanksgiving without Joe's mom too, and it was a bit sedate but we laughed at some of the funny things she always did so she was with us in spirit.

Along the way, we stopped for one more set of photopass pictures:

We picked a purple Mickey Mouse balloon and passed it on to a little girl this trip. The parents were very grateful that we chose their daughter and thanked us and said my dad was very lucky to have me as his daughter to do such a nice thing in his memory.

After our first trip to Disney I learned that having the balloon IN the parks is very important to little girls (at least mine) so you can show it off all day.

I am in awe of your Disney ornament collection. Have you seen the new designer villian mouse ear ornaments? they are totally on my wish list this year.

and I agree - "next year" means 2013. Shop away!
