JetBlue notifications...Grrrrrrr...

I'm a JetBlue TrueBlue member and always receive all promotional notifications by email but I never receive the email letting me know when the new booking window opens. For a year now I've been trying to figure out why I don't get this vital email. Couldn't get an answer from JetBlue. Finally, a TrueBlue Rep told me today that I don't get it because I have a Canadian mailing address. Only TrueBlue members with a US mailing address receive this specific email. Can you guess I'm a little ticked off?:furious:
 
That can't be accurate. I have received emails from them when they open up their new booking dates?? How does having a Canadian email address make a difference? It's just a general letter they send to people in their email list....

I was told today it has nothing to do with the email address. They are saying that if you do not have a US mailing address in your TrueBlue profile then you will not receive this particular notification by email. I'm wondering how many Canadians have their Canadian mailing address in their TrueBlue profile and are actually getting this particular email notification.
 


I just checked my profile, and my home address is in there. Not sure how Im getting the emails then, if what that rep said was accurate. Still don't get why a Canadian mailing address would change things. It's still just a generic email they send out.

I think I might be calling "BS" on this one and calling them back. My guess is they haven't got a clue why I'm not getting this email when I get all other promo emails and this was the best they could come up with...

Im kinda thinking you are right?? It wouldn't make sense. They get business from Canadians, why wouldn't they send out the email?

I'm thinking maybe a move to the US is in store if you know what I mean ;)
 
That's weird that they would tell you that as I have received those emails before. I always wait such email to book our flights and it has never failed me yet.

My wife is also a TrueBlue member and the same thing happens to her. She gets all the promotional emails except for the one notifying us of the booking window opening. We each have different email address with different providers but the same Canadian mailing address. Frustrating...
 
Did you receive the email yesterday from Jetblue with their booking window open through September 3rd?? Wondering if you got the email problem sorted out. If not, they have extended their booking into September:thumbsup2

Nope, did not get the email yesterday. So, not solved. Thank you for letting me know about the email. I've been trying to check flyertalk each day. Thanks again.
