DDC XXIV - What Bacon Shortage? We're Full Of It!

The only place better may be a baseball game at Camden Yards in Baltimore. There are usually more Boston fans than Baltimore fans.:rotfl: I think they are just happy someone is showing up and spending $$.

However, if the Red Sox keep playing the way they did last year that may change and no one will be at the games in either stadium. :lmao::lmao:

I forget that it's named Camden Yards, seeing as people always refer to it as Fenway South. ;)

I thought it was Yankee Stadium south... :confused3

I go through about 4-6 aftermarket ps3 controllers a season. I've been lucky with the Wii controllers and only go through about 2. We used the Kinect for x-box so I have no controller loss there! :rotfl2:
Are you going through the controllers because of theft or damage.
How many kids do you have using a console at once? Since there is only one controller with the screen if you have more than one child playing at a time you might find that the Wii U controller causes kids to fight over it.

Damage... we have rubber mats in front of the consoles but they drop them and they break.

This is our x-box set up.

We have 4 Wiis, 4 PS3s, and 2 xbox that run from 9a-4pm every day.

CRUD.

Got called back into work on Friday night because our storage volume ran out of space and freaked everything out. Still cleaning up the mess today, so I didn't have a chance to read back more than a page or 2.

Happy Birthday Andy!

Chris - sorry to hear about your building, but glad you (and the maintenance guys) are safe.

Tim - as usual, suck it.

Lol.

Happy birthday Andy! Amelia make sure you ask your dad for big presents.

Yes, it was good to see the defense finally get some breaks. They still scare me.:scared: I was not there yesterday due to having way too much to do with the holidays coming up. I actually traded the game a few weeks ago with a friend that has Celts season tickets. I got 2 tickets to 2 games from him so I can take DS as he loves hoops. Works out in my favor in the end. Also missing the turkey day game on Thursday as my DM would have me drawn and quartered if i blew of dinner to be at a game.

Not happy about Gronk either. At least he'll be back for the playoffs.

Used to be a huge Celts fan so I think the trade was worth it.

Have done it in the past, just not on a holiday. A couple of years ago we went to Miami for a game (seems no on from Miami wants to watch the Fins, we go seats on the 40 for half the cost at Gillette....Sorry CJ). We went to the Buffalo game this season and if all the cards fall right could be planning another road trip before season end, who knows. It's a lot of fun to get a group of guys together and go on a short trip. I'll let you know when another is in the works if your interested.

I did take a trip down to Miami a few years back for a Pats/Fins game, and have to say that the fans there were much nicer to me than I expected (and experienced in NY many times! :rotfl:) Must be that warm weather and all those beaches that have them so relaxed... :confused3

Miami fans are notorious for not showing up for games. Hated going to Mets/Marlins games just to hear obnoxious Mets fans. Glad you guys enjoyed it down here. Just as long as you are not a Jets fan, Miami fans usually leave you alone.

Camden is a great place to see a game and so is Wrigley. The old Yankee Stadium was a dump but it had it's charm. Shea was just old. Haven't visited Fenway yet. It is on the list. Marlins Park is very South Florida looking and a beautiful place. Too bad the team next year are going to leave a bad odor there.

Hey nemie.:wave2:

Fenway lives up to it's reputation as "the oldest ball park". It has it's charm and old time feel, but I sure would like to see them build a new and improved one. Of course that would mean even higher prices I'm sure.:headache::furious: I think we are already one of the most expensive (and that doesn't include the $50 to park:scared:).

I'm with ya on the AAA teams playing in MLB. We still haven't solved our issues yet after finishing in last place. I'm sure I would be pretty:furious: if it were us that made that trade. Maybe if everyone stays away they'll get the picture?

At least we have our sell out streak in tact.:lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2: Really John Henry? Really?:sad2::sad2:

It's more like the big brother I never wanted type of thing, haha well also I'm horrible with names and I can only remember so many :)

Come on guys, you're being totally unfair, and Randall has every right to be upset. We were there this summer and saw lots of Phillies fans at the game.

You'll like Fenway when you get up here for a game then, it's most similar to Wrigley out of all the ballparks I've seen. Having it right in the middle of the city is pretty neat too (as long as you're not trying to drive into the game! ;)).

That's a cool setup. With breakage being the issue I would probably skip the wii U for a while. And no this isn't the ex-msft employee inside me trying to get more kinect sales.

In one of my parts houses and the 2 guys at the counter are discussing ky bourbons and all I can think about is NORM!!!!

Maybe that's the first part of his plan?
