Well it looks like ND has their destiny in their own hands. I can't believe both Oregon and K State lost last night. USC next week for the Irish :thumbsup2

i just about fell over when I saw this. I was watching the end of the Oregon game when I saw KS got beat and then watched Oregon loose. :faint:

good mourning to all and lets have a good sunday and watch lots of football. since there was such a upset last night in college football it will make for a good day of pro ball.

If Oregon is going to lose, it would be tonight. K State has a pretty easy go of it from here on out. So, I think thy will miss out unless they get some help. Watching the Senior Day intro was pretty cool!

Things seem to be falling in place for the Irish.

Will it be ND vs Alabama in the last BSBSC Championship Game?

Totally agree. It is what it is. If you and Paul bring the trailer down, don't expect me to have the grass mowed.

Why would I? I rarely cut my grass now.

And yeah - smartphone - still not good at multiquoting

An excuse? Couldn't you at least write a little poem about it?

My computer told me not to multi Quote
My phone doesnt allow it
I like to hear myself type
What is post padding

That's better. Or, even a game show about it?

100 people surveyed, top 5 answers on the board... here's the question:

Name an excuse that a post-padder uses.

DING DING DING!

Sean, you need to improve your excuses. These are way better.

sounds cool... no video??? :confused3

No, they have some silly rule about recording it themselves and copyright.

lucky, hope you get some thing. DW sqashed my opertunity to hunt this year, she apparently doesnt want to sit in the cold with no gun and hunt. Maybe I can get her though Hunters saftey and take her out next year. Or maybe I will just go hunting with FiL.

You take DW into the woods with you with a gun in the dark? You are either very brave or invested heavily in body armor. :lmao:

Lol... That is true, but we survived Disney with no blood shed so maybe it will be alright.
Either way you have a point, may be I will load her gun with blanks.

It's duck season, no it's rabbit season. I saw its turducken time.

Never had one of them. Are they good? I saw on QVC where they have an indoor, electric turkey fryer for $100. I thought about getting one of those this year, but didn't. I'll have to wait on trying a turducken as well. The more important questions is why the turkey isn't wrapped in bacon?

Never had it just looks good, can never find someone to share in the experience.

I am only about an hour or so away from playing epic Mickey 2 on the wii u, sorry that's not major news I'm just excited that the day I've been waiting for for 3 years is finally here, good morning fellow dads , I hope everyone is doing good, saw something about rifles and wives, never a good combo lol

Morning guys.

Thanks guys, I will give her your advice. The big thing when she runs solo is hydration. She doesn't want to carry water or stop to get a drink. Not smart. Will probably suggest she does a couple of real long runs when she is on break. That way, I can set up a water stop in front of the house.

Good call CJ. If she can plan a long run that circles past your house a few times for water, that would be huge. She should be consuming some food too for runs that long, something with some sugar in them is good (I eat the kids' snack pack fruit chews :lmao:).

They have 20 water/powerade stops and 2/3 food stops along the marathon course, so they do a good job of making sure we have all that stuff for the run.

I wouldn't bother if I were you; I doubt you'll have much lawn left after we're there a few days... :lmao::lmao:

Hello, if you are planing to go to the DISDads Convention and you want a special t-shirt, please Register Here! there is a $30 fee to help cover the cost of the DDCC and shirts. Hope to see all of you there.

Morning guys,

Plan today other than football is to go out and buy T-Day groceries. Not doing a whole turkey but just a breast. Other items include mushroom risotto stuffing, herb stuffing (the kid wants it), mashed potatoes, and something with corn. The vegetarian will also have portabella mushrooms and some fake chicken thing. Not sure about dessert. Scanning the Food Network looking for ideas.

Will it be ND vs Alabama in the last BSBSC Championship Game?

Could be. Depends on USC and Georgia. Not a fan of Saban and hate Georgia so not sure I can root for an SEC team if they make the championship. Sacrilege, I know. I may end up on Duck's side if it works out that way.

She bought a bunch of GU shots and Cliff bars so she has food while running but water is the big thing. When the kid ran the half, she had problems drinking and running (yes our family has problems walking and chewing gum) and was a bit dehydrated after the race. She needs to work on it.

I am not a lawn obsessive person. If it is green and grows in the yard, I leave it alone. What you and Norm do to the yard would not be one of the things I would worry about. Just make sure you recycle the beer cans.

Hey, that's cool news. Enjoy and let us know how it is. I liked playing the first one.

Sunday ownage.

I have to go with the SEC team - state law. The mushroom risotto sounds good. Make sure you save some for Paul and I. We'll get you a food order a little bit get closer to time. As for recycling beer cans, what do you think I am using for my spending money? I plan to mooch off of you for the basic stuff - food, electricity, cable, Internet, DVC dues - but I'll need some spending money for things like buying you a Christmas present. Those recycled cans should cover that bill.

So, my iPad refurbed Gen 1 is now more efficient than my home PC. It is a Dell desktop that I bought new in 2006. It has just slightly less than 1 GB worth of free space, but moves so slowly and freezes up at times. I really like my iPad but I also like my Windows Samsung Focus and still can't decide which route to go. I should probably post this over on the DisDad Geek thread for some help since we've done the budget for next year and there isn't room for a new computer.
