The little hallway leads to the washer/dryer -- to one side is the bedroom, to the other is the spacious bathroom:

:goodvibes

I have arrived at Walt Disney World. We are staying at the Boardwalk for the first few days. To my delight, all the Christmas decorations seem to be up around the resorts. Will get to spend some time at AKL and Kidani on Friday and will take plenty of photos of the decorations there.

Stormaway Bay is the reason my DH refuses to ever stay at the BC. The clown slide scares him.

The clown slide is at the Boardwalk. Your DH should be fine with the Beach Club, Stormalong Bay has a pirate ship slide and a beach water area.

I was just going to say that and you beat me to it... :lmao:

The clown slide scares a lot of people, I know people request NOT to see it from their room if they do stay there.

I really like the Boardwalk. But both and perfect for being around EPCOT

OOOO thanks so much for the 1 BR pics! Is the only entrance to the bathroom in the master? Not a problem for us, just curious.

For the person considering BC - we did our 1st 2 stays at BC in March of this year (BCV studio & BC CL). My kids LOVED Stormalong Bay, they wanted to stay there all day long. Even DS15 enjoyed the pool activities & games. So just be aware you might lose some park time if you stay there!

I LOVED the close proximity to Epcot. I love to end each day there, getting a snack in WS as I watch Illuminations. To be able to sneak out the IG & be in our room in under 5 min was priceless. I even sent DS15 over to WS to grab fish & chips for me one day for lunch while I was lounging at the pool. It was like having my own personal pool boy!!!

AKL is my favorite but I'd stay at BC again too.

The 1 BR at Jambo house has 1 bathroom and it is down the hall to the Master but it is NOT in the master.

There is a door for the bedroom and a door for the bathroom.

Perfect! Hope you have an amazing time and enjoy!
:dance3: :cheer2: :wave2:

Brandi, Graham got me a D & B back pack for my birthday. I had not even realised they did a back pack in the new cruise pattern. This will be great for the parks. So I now don't feel the need to get the sketch back pack anymore, but will probably get something in the Retro Pattern. With 20% discount, it would be a crime not to.

Oh how wonderful, perfectly played by Graham! He is a keeper! Cant wait for pictures! And yes you must get the 20% off while you can...

D&B has asked Disney NOT to include the bags in their discount programs anymore, so they have been excluded from all online sales and you can for NOW only get the discount in the park! SO YES get a bag while you can.... :yay::yay::yay::yay:

Thanks so much for the quick info. I don't know why I was thinking there was a soaking tub somehow IN the master with a sink, then another entrance to the rest of the bathroom from the outside. I've been researching too many villas lately I guess! The set up looks perfect for our family of 4. Can't wait to get there. Now if only my ticker would move faster!

RachelTori - you said that was a value 1BR - but I see the sleeper chair - have they added some to random value villas?

I know that my 1 BR at Boardwalk (Stayed there 3 times) had that set up you are describing.

The two doors that open up into the bathroom and the soaking tub on the master side, and it has shutters that open into the master room.

Isn't that something. I didn't realize so many people disliked clowns.

We stayed there in '03. My DS (15 at the time) would crash through those shutters and land on the bed...repeatedly.:headache:

Tara - I can't say for sure that it is a "sleeper" as there were only 2 of us and I don't even think we sat in that chair!! If WDW will allow 5 in the Value 1-bedroom, then that would be a sleeper chair. :thumbsup2

Here are some pictures from our August 2011 trip. This Value 1-bedroom also had the chair. Again, I don't know if it's a "sleeper" or not. :confused3

Thanks for the extra pics & info RachelTori! Looking at these most recent pics, I think that just might be a chair, not a sleeper chair. I've slept on the sleeper chair at Kidani twice & it looked much wider. I was surprised how comfortable the sleeper chair was.

I am not sure if the DVC rooms are different, but I am pretty sure we a sleeper chair.
