I just got the card for me, but then I got an email that said once I spent 20 it'd give me 10, did anyone else get that? I've had mine a while and have yet to activate it. I'm going to go do that now. I'm saving it to help pay for christmas dinner.

And to the previous poster, I've never had any problems using American Express in all the same places I'd use M/C & Visa.

Got that same e-mail... Spent $20+ with my card Tuesday night... By Wednesday night, I had a $10 credit to my account!

Yep I also got this email offer! In case it matters - I also have not used my card yet. I was saving for a little Xmas shopping. I went back and double checked and mine states I need to do so by 12/31/12.

Wow - odd. I just double checked & my email says 11/30! So, I would suggest that everyone checks their dates because they must not all be the same

Either way - it is $10 free

Thanks OP, I got the card last month $25 plus the free $25 and just using that free money got an extra $10. I hope this never ends.

I wonder if it's because you used your card right away. I got mine and tucked it away didn't even activate it until I got the $10 promo. That might be why? An incentive to use it

Do the cards come with your name on them?

I was thinking of getting one of these for each of my DDs. Is there an age restriction on the cards? They are 14 & 15.

They do come printed with your name like a regular Amex. I'm not sure about age limits.
