They can sell penguins, but they are really hard to decorate and tend to move around a lot. I would hate to have to move the presents and decorations every time my penguin decided not to stand in the bay window.

We cut our own too, but that is what a 9-10 foot Concolor fir costs in our area. Good news is that I spoke with our neighbor last night and they are going to water it for us while we are gone.

Good Morning fellow dads, hope all is well, anything new going on? Thinking about putting DD in swimming lessons, she loves being in the water, at AK she kept on asking if we could go back to AoA and swim, and i hardly can get her out, she loves swimming more the AK!!!! I think there is a place that does lessons during fall and winter months.

Both my kids love swimming. Took lessons at an early age, but we have been so busy that swim team was dropped this winter(had to commit to 4 days a week). Hoping we can get back into it in the spring. DD does swim for the country club team over the summer. It is the best exercise you can do, it really works all of your muscle groups at once. I say if you have the time then do it!

This land of warm weather, ocean, and bikinis paid $515+ million of taxpayer money to give this clown a park so he could field a competitive team. And I don’t want to hear the argument that I can see other teams’ major leaguers play even if it is against our AAA or AA caliber team. Especially when many of those major leaguers previously wore a Marlins’ uniform. Not today please.

CJ, I feel sorry for you. When I saw the moves they made this last offseason, I thought maybe the culture of the front office would change with the move into the new stadium. Giancarlos Stanton's tweet said it all though.

If I was a taxpayer down there, I'd be p!ssed that they did this after getting a brand new stadium. I hope they have one of the lowest attendance rankings of any MLB team next year.

They suckered me in with that again this year. The sad thing is that I love baseball. They ripped my heart out three times now. I also thought the culture had changed so I signed up. Opening day was great and June was fun. Then by July it was over. Was a season ticket holder from day one until they broke them up the first time. Did not go to another game until this year. It is going to take a lot to get me to come back.

Watching the news and find out the Marlins trade Josh Johnson, Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes, John Buck and Emilio Bonifacio to the Blue Jays. What did we get? Garbage. That is after the first fire sale over the summer.

IF (and that is a big if) they sign A Rod and expect me to come to the ballpark just to see him play, they are idiots. Done with Baseball.

Toronto, if you win the pennant next year, you can thank us. If history is any indication they will all be playing in next year's All Star Game. Ask Miguel Cabrera. This stinks.

Put both of mine in swim lessons. DW almost drowned as a child in the lake because she didn't know how to swim. My oldest did the swim team last year. She didn't like competing, so we didn't do it again, but now, she is a really strong swimmer. Those swimming skills will be great when CJ puts a pool in by our trailer in the front yard. How's construction going?

You know, I really do agree with you, but I think an artificial tree is best for their situation. A real tree can be a fire hazard, even if you're home to keep an eye on things and keep it watered. I, personally, wouldn't want to be away from home for a week and a half with one sitting in my living room, regardless the cost.

I hear you, that was more my editorial on my hatred for artificial christmas trees.

I'd make fun of you, but the Red Sox aren't doing much better and it would come back to bite me in the @$$. Now that Toronto has improved, I guess that puts us behind them too in the east. At least we'll be able to beat the Marlins, maybe.

UK played well last night. They are not the front runners this year, but still a top 20 team. But, probably not in Final Four this year without some luck or a good tournament run.
