Dinner and breakfast are very different though. Just the location mainly is the same. Different food, different entertainment, characters at breakfast. I wouldn't waste my time going to Chef Mickeys in any case when you're already at the Poly. But I hate Chef Mickeys.

can u lock the room from outside the patio if u leave that way?

Well I think you can but when returning you would have to use your room key to the door in the inside hallway.
I had a patio room in Tokelau and there is a lock on the sliding patio door , I think you can switch it to lock and close it but you cant get in it with your room key. I'm not sure if you can lock it from the outside or not because we never tried. Anyone know for sure ?

I actually don't think you can?? It is a latch that has to be turned and doesn't turn on its own. I can't imagine they would have it that way so people don't lock themselves out? Its not an electronic door? Nor is it a turn latch like on normal door knobs. I can honestly say I have stepped outside our balcony/patio many times without it locking and all I do to lock it on the inside it turn the little latch. It has nothing else?

You can only lock the slider from inside the room.

Tokelau is just a building and doesn't cost any more to be in that building as another if you have the same room type.

Not sure what you mean? It is just a building with the same rooms as the rest?

So unlike the POR your not paying more for a "preferred" room? you would pay more for the Hawaii??

Samoa is a great choice .

You are correct that there are no preferred rooms at the Poly and Hawaii is more expensive since the whole building is club level .

I just booked Poly for Jan. 2-9. It's our first time at a deluxe! So excited. I requested a 3rd floor balcony, not sure which building is the best as of yet. I'll have to research that now.

We have just booked for next spring (late april), this will be our 3rd trip to the Poly, previously staying in Nuie and Tokelau, and we decided to go for club level in Hawaii this time. Our group of 3 families seems to be getting some confilcting info , so Ive come to the experts for some answers.

- I thought the whole hawaii building was club, the others seem to be getting info that the 1st floor is not??

- No balconies on the 2nd floor....correct??

I would like a balcony and thought I would request 1st or 3rd floor, so after some calls, one person was told there were balconies on the 2nd(Im 99% sure this isnt true) and the other was told that if we wanted a blacony we would have to be on the 3rd as 1st is not club/concierge.

Oh ya, I dont think it makes a difference, but 2 rooms are garden and one is lagoon.

All of Hawaii is Club Level.

There are NO balconies on the second floor.

On first floor you will have a patio and on 3rd a balcony.

It doesn't make a difference whether it is GV or LV or TPV, there are patios on first and balconies on third--just a faux balcony on second, e.g., a slider that opens to guardrails--no step out.

I honestly cannot believe some of the information given by the booking agents--clueless!

If you booked standard view, we loved Samao. We loved the location as it's very convenient to everything .

It doesn't surprise me that there was conflicting information given. Some CMs are known for giving out wrong information . The whole Hawaii building is club level and there are rooms on all 3 floors, including the first floor . You are also correct that the second floor rooms do not have balconies.

Soooooo excited!!! 8 more days for us!!!

We are at OKW for the first 8 nights and then checking-in to Poly CL on 11/11. Looking forward to stay CL for the first time!
