The box area (when I tried did not work) and call Dis Tech. They said that area is for those who need pack-n-play. According to Disney reservations you need to call and request the two room requests.

you are allowed 2 room requests during online check-in (at least i was).

I just did online check in yesterday and was able to make two requests including which section/building, pack & play, near transportation, etc.

i just wanted to say that we are leaving tomorrow morning and should be in the world by 6pm!!!!! during our week there, we'll be hitting up all 4 parks, mnsshp, and f&w festival! i am sooooo excited!

thanks to everyone for all of your advice, suggestions, trip reports, tips, etc!!

i'll be back next tuesday and will work on a trip report!!!

That is our schedule too. We fly in tomorrow, arriving at Pop probably around 9; go nuts in the parks for four days; wind it all up with MNSSHP Sunday night; fly back home Monday tired and sorry to be leaving.

Which park is closest to Pop?

Hollywood Studios is the closest park to Pop Century.

Stayed 1 night at Pop. 70's 1 st floor. Great location close to everything. Really impressed with Pop, loved the food court.

Just checked in, and now we're on a bus to downtown. NONE of my requests were met. The only one i cared about was a king bed, but they didn't have anything for 3 days. Regardless, we're happy to finally be in Disney! We got a corner room on the second floor in the 60s, only a 3 minute walk to classic hall. I'll try to check in with you guys periodically.

My daughters and I have stayed at POP several times but our last stay was at AoA. I was really impressed with AoA and had planned on booking our next stay there but I couldn't do it - my heart belongs to POP!

So it is with a happy heart that I can say were coming back to POP April 6-14!!!!

So excited to be planning my next trip with ya'll!

This is SO us on all our trips!! We love the parks and if we are lucky to be there during a special event, we go to that too!!

Well, sorry about not getting your requests, but I like your attitude! I'm always happy when I am the World. The end rooms are our favorites, and we love the 60s as well. Perfect location!

AoA looks awesome! And having the bridge open and the ability to go explore makes POP even better!! it's good to have our "unofficial resort" open for business. We will find it hard to stay there as well, don't have the need for the suites, and the LM rooms are kind of an afterthought it seems... we love POP and the theming and will be content to explore AoA occasionally.

T-minus 21 days and counting ... We think what we need for the trip, but rarely pack much until the 24 hours to departure (and then as we head out the door, I'm like ... "I forgot to pack ....."

We stayed for a quick trip at ASMu in July but didn't like it at all. It is amazing how well POP is laid out with its theming, etc. The loyalty of its guests is amazing too! We went back to POP 2 months later and stayed for 2 weeks. Everyday I was at ASMu I said "I miss Pop". But in Sept it was great at Pop! We did MNSSHP as well and had alot of fun.We will be back next year in Sept as well.

Trekker!! POP is amazing ... do you think people overlook it as its in the value class?? As you mentioned it has great theming, compact layout, great CMs, great food court, great value and it gives you a nice warm feeling when you step into the lobby. Perhaps the nostaglia factor is the deciding difference. We also stayed at ASMu on our first visit, it was nice, but once we stayed at POP, it's been no turning back.

for a 2 week vacation! And to be able to go to MNSSHP is fantastic!! My DD may have to be out of school we can go to that party. She's been to the Pirate & Princess party though and it was a blast!

I agree with everything you said about POP! I was really considering staying at a Mod for the first time this upcoming trip, but I decided that I love POP too much to try another resort, at least for now. I probably will someday stay in another resort (I would like to stay at AKL with a savannah view one day), but I don't think of POP as a Value, I think of it as a great place to stay!
