Ninjamom - so sorry for your loss, but glad to know that she is now at peace instead of battling. And even happier to see that your family found a way to get through it together and in a way that would let her know that it was ok for her to stop fighting and let go. The way I see it, the cancer didn't win, she did, because she had all of you surrounding her and loving her and each other, so she won in the end. The cancer didn't tear her apart, it brought her family even closer together.

And your family trip to Disney will be one that you will never forget. It will surely be the one that will stand out the most in your minds.

We will be at YC Dec 10 through 20 (already on list). I have an illuminations cruise leaving from the YC on Dec 10th at 8:30 for 9:30 illuminations. I have room for a few more. We are staying at DVC-BCV for the first time in 2013 for F&W. I realize this is a subjective question but any suggestions on room requests? It will be just DW and I and we will be in a studio for 8 days. All comments and suggestions are welcome. TIA.

BCV views are basically on the pool side (not SAB, but more of a quiet pool) or "away from the pool" which is woods and in some cases the road that runs around the resort area. My DH and I prefer being on the woods side, not much of a view since the trees are quite close, but quieter.

One other thought is the floor you may want to consider. The elevators are pretty busy so during peak times of the day you may have to wait and get a crowded car. So, ground floor or 2nd floor would offer ease in getting in and out of the resort. But - we think the higher floors are quieter, esp the top floor where no little legs are running around over your head. Also, come rooms don't have much of a balcony so if that is important to you be sure and specify a balcony with chairs.

Hope you love the location as much as we do, really wish this was our home resort...

NinjaMom - so sorry for your loss. I work at a hospital and there is nothing more precious then having family all over the place to be there to support their loved one.

I hope your upcoming trip will be a celebration of your Mom's life and that you can find someway to honor her on this trip! She will be with you and your family in spirit and will put smiles on your faces and tears in your eyes as she watches over you.

I'm glad she is no longer suffering.
