45 min. restroom lines?

Just thinking about that right now, when I have some small stomach flu bug, is making me cringe. It was hard for me to hold it all in for five minutes while trying to maneuver through the swarms of little kids at my school's football game last night, let alone waiting 45 minutes. :scared1:

I guess it depends on what bathroom you use/what area.
We've been to MK twice on Christmas Day and never waited 45 minutes to use the restroom.

Last Oct at Epcot I waited that long on a Saturday during F&W, at the American Pav. Could not beleive it! Some women started going in the mens room at one point. The lines were very long at Morroco and UK as well.

That's probably a good time to really study a theme park map and find a bathroom that's way off the beaten path.

Good luck!

:)

While that might be exaggerated (and I don't know, having never been to the park on Christmas Day) I would imagine that something like that could occur in a sort of "perfect storm" situation. For example, at MK on Main Street, Ladies room, after the fireworks when everyone is trying to leave & stop by the facilities on the way out.

I would not, however, expect anything less than a 10 minute line during that week, under ideal circumstances. That's just a factor of the high crowds..... You're not going to walk up to empty stalls.

We are there on NYE and have never waited that long. I think you have to go to the biggest and most off the beaten path bathrooms, but even then it isn't that long. We do Epcot on NYE and they have additional restrooms set up, one near the American Pavilion and the old Millennium site. Good thing as everyone tends to drink a lot during NYE in World Showcase!! HA HA!! I think at times it may SEEM that you a waiting a long time cause if you gotta go you gotta go, but the waits are not that long.

Enjoy The Magic!!

I've been to the parks on crowded days and the longest I've ever waited was 3 minutes. If the wait is 45 minutes its because you aren't trying to find one of the hidden bathrooms! We've been to WDW so many times and know where the best hidden bathrooms are!! Research!!

I didn't find it to be overly crowded on either day. It was the week after Christmas leading up to NYE that was bad.

Christmas Eve we went over to look at the Osbourne Lights.... it was super NOT busy!

Never happened to us. We've been twice over Xmas week and we've never waited for a bathroom.

an enormous line formed outside the ladies room by caseys. this was right before fireworks. we just went to another bathroom.

I have never waited in a line at Disney World for a bathroom. If there is a line, I just move on to the next one. Of course, I don't wait until I absolutely, positively have to use one.

Disney bathrooms don't have the usual bottlenecks for bathrooms. Did ya ever notice even in there, the designers got it right? There are no mirrors over the sinks so women don't spend 20 minutes trying to make sure they look absolutely perfect. You use the stall, you wash your hands and if you do have to check your appearance, you have to move once again.

One suggestion for the ladies - if there are more than two of you, don't have one stand around waiting for the other - just meet up outside. Obviously, this doesn't pertain to anyone with a younger child but it irritates me to no end when I go in and see full grown women standing right at the entrance waiting for other full grown women.

The restroom by the American Adventure is very small. I'm sure even if there was a line by Morocco, it would move much faster.

Like Hidden Mickeys? Is there an app for that?

I waited 45 min. once at a very crowded MVMCP. I knew I would be waiting but I had no idea it would be THAT long. A friend was on a nearby ride so I didn't want to go to a different area of the park.
