Does anyone else go all out with Mickey-Halloween?

I am hoping that DH will actually do the pumpkins he's talking about carving this year because they will be a nice complement to our Disney decorations.

I have a good feeling about tomorrow. But then again, I thought it was going to happen every day this week

Finally arrived home after parent-teacher interviews and checked to see that no notice has arrived! Three of the teachers were really prompt but the last was so behind...I spent almost an hour waiting for my 5-minute slot just wishing I could check my e-mail! (OT: DS's teachers all had good things to say and we have a few things to focus on...all in all he is transitioning to high school very well.) Hopefully tomorrow is the day...otherwise, I'll be banking on Saturday.

I got the same email and it was quite a let down.

I've been lurking along with everyone else. I'm on pins and needles, just trying to find things to occupy my mind. UGH! I hope its tomorrow so I can do the video over the weekend (don't you love that positive outlook) I'm gone on a final camping trip of the year for fall break most of next week.

Well yet another heart beat moment lol I am signed for far too many email subscriptions.

I have been doing the same although I have been ill so it has been hard to be occupied when I just want to curl up with a brew.
I hope so, it's my birthday on Sunday so I would like to know so I can enjoy my day ;0)

So, while we're waiting... who has made it to Round 2 or Round 3 before? I made it to Round 3 two years ago and Round 2 last year. I've applied every year since the panel was started and I was SHOCKED when I finally made it past round 1!! What about you?

I haven't posted anything this year, since I was too heartbroken last year when I didn't make it to round two. Part of me has been superstitious, thinking posting might jinx me, but I have been following this thread all along and the excitement (and anxiety?) is getting to me! I hope we find out soon, and wish everyone lots of pixie-dusted luck!

I am with you...have applied every year since the Panel's inception. I haven't yet made it to Round 2, so here's hoping for a new thing! What did you do when you made it past round 1? Did you faint?

Evening all! I can't believe this is the first time I am checking in today!!

I have applied every year except the 1st. I have made it to Round two twice. Last year I did not make it past round one.

I remember two years ago when I made the video for Round 2, I was smack dab in the middle on an atrocious virus of some sort that had me out of work for two weeks. I was so out of in the video and sounded like Steve Erkel - no wonder they didn't pick me for round 3!!

I made it to Round 2 in 2010 and Round 3 last year!

I've applied every year since it started, and have a fine collection of "Get lost, kid" rejection letters. I've never made it past round 1 - at some point, probably when I have grandkids, they will take pity on me for my perseverance, and I will make it to round 2.

Hi, all!

Still lurking, hoping and waiting ...do you think it's intentional how many Disney emails are popping up in our in-boxes that aren't related to the Moms Panel?! I realize it's coincidental, but I think the same thing happened last year during application time, too.

By the way, I'm still thinking the answer to the Dole Whip question has to be pineapple. Let's face it, you can buy plain soft serve at lots of places at MK and (all of the parks), but the Dole Whip is the only kind with pineapple. Who knows?! It will be interesting to see from who goes on to Round 2 if we can determine what answer they were looking for with this question!
