Anybody figure out what the scoop is on S/P/D? It's still not on the Disney website! Are they not offering it to the general public? What should I tell my TA???

Talked to CM around 9:10am this morning and was only offered room discount for about $300 saving. I'm in Canada and was told this is the new one. Is she right, is there any package discount? For FD, I figured I can save $1000+. I checked the canadian website, and I can see this room discount for early 2013.

I don't normally post, but.... I was about to call, when I saw that the stay/play/dine deal is up on the website now. I just successfully booked for POP, 8 nights in January for $1600, with 4-day passes and QSDP. Not quite as good as free dining, but pretty close!

Just booked for 4 adults priced it this morning $2496.40 for 4 nights in POP with basic 10 day magic your way ticket and QSDP . Just booked online now same package for $1887.86 so excited now

they just updated the page and both the s/p/d and room only prices are up. booked 9 day w/ 5 day park hopper at all star movies for 2476....was hoping it was a little more but saved a little over 500$! i'll take it! and i will still cross my fingers for a free dining offer!

My first reservation was at AOA for 5days/4nights 3 day pass and my total w/ insurance was $1659.82. I called and changed to the SPD plan, added an additional day pass, and upgraded to the Dining Plus Package and my total w/ insurance was $1997.26!! My goal was to go for less than $2K and I did it!!

After 90 minutes on hold (with s/p/d going live on the website while I was on hold!) I finally got thru and was able to add s/p/d to my ressie! I saved $666.08 (for 2 adults 1 infant for 8 nights at POFQ)! I was so happy that I didn't have to switch resorts. Initially the CM told me the offer for POFQ was full, but she was eventually able to get s/p/d at POFQ after I told her I was still able to price it out on the website. The CM reported that this is going fast and she believes that by tomorrow s/p/d will be sold out!

After a little more than 2 hours on hold, I finally got our reservations changed. 2 rooms at POP for 5 nights, 6-day park hopper with dining plan (3 adults, 2 kids). We saved $564.16 total (and that was even switching from 5-day pass to 6-day). Not bad for 2 hours of my time...

This offer can run out? I am in a conference all day! I set my alarm early this morning but after being on hold for 1 hour and 25 minutes I needed to get to work! I have reservations already but am hoping to save some money by adjusting. Confused?

So our original reservations were at AoA, one for $18xx, one for $14xx, WITHOUT dining. I priced it out with S/P/D at Pop and got almost exactly the same prices WITH dining. I emailed my TA asking her to switch us, but I'm afraid she won't get to it before it's too late! Does anyone see these numbers changing, or should we still get the same prices if she doesn't get to it till tomorrow? Should I try calling Disney myself to change it, or does the TA have to?

Thanks everyone for posting what they knew and how they knew it! I got up early this morning, had to wait to talk with RunDisney to see if they S/P/D plan would apply through them... no go. They quoted me at $3700 ish for 8 nights, 6 day park passes and dining -> So, they transferred me the main vaca line and the CM was super helpful and booked us for the same package at $2700! So Happy!

It it going to be a great marathon weekend!!!

So I have a question, I just saw where someone upgraded their older child to an adult meal plan with no extra cost, is it because of the adult same as a child?

Thanks for the post. Called again and the waiting time is not bad, about 10min. This time I'm able to get the S/P/D applied and the saving is about $650. I'm staying in POR for 7nights from Mar.3, but have to switch to garden view. I found if I can check in on Mar. 2, the standard view is available.

We had to switch from the standard royal to garden view as well. It was going to cost us $1400 more to do the dining plan before s/p/d. We're getting the meals and an upgraded room for only $148 more than our original reservation for 2 rooms, 1 child, 5 adults and 4 days of has passes. In fact somehow when my TA called Disney she got the package for $3548 and not the $3648 quoted on the website!

Disney only allows a certain amount of rooms at each resort to have certain discounts. Once the rooms are full for the discount they're full, even if you already have a reservation there.

You would not be able to apply a discount to a TA booed reservation through Disney, and even the TA has to call a special line. The main line won't be able to pull up or touch the TA reservation.
