I believe we have decided to join you on the cruise! There will be 5 possibly 6 of us. Myself, Janet (mom) Bob (dad) Sherrie (gramma), Bentli (Step Daughter 13), Sydni (dd4) and possibly Quinn Step Son (10). We are from the Seattle/Tacoma area.

Mom, Dad, Gramma and Sydni cruised on the Dream last July and got hooked. So we are trying for another "Magical" adventure. Bentli is full of plans for FE gifts and while she is a bit nervous about the teen club, she is willing to give it a go.

Any inside tips and suggestions would be great.

Looking forward to the dis-meet, FE, and exploring a classic ship. Will chat more soon!

Sadly, Our family won't be joining you on this cruise. DCL is not being very cooperative or understanding with us, so we are going to chuck DCL this go around and try RCCL's Allure instead.

We wish you a safe and MAGICAL voyage and hope to be a part of another Disney cruise in the future.

We would welcome doing fish extenders with your family! I haven't seen any other posts regarding them, so it may be just us?

Our last 3 DCL cruises have been on DCL Dream. Love love Dream & Fantasy. I know its going to be hard going back to the Magic BUT we are really excited (well, my mom & I are) the kids dont know yet!

I just booked this cruise yesterday.

I sailed on the 1st sailing out of Galveston, on 9/22, and we had a blast. On that sailing it was my DH, DD, and DS.

This time around it is time for Mom to have a break. I am sailing with my Mom 85 years old and her 1st Disney Cruise, my sister and my niece, their 1st Disney Cruise also. This will be a girls trip to remember!

I love doing FEs too, so if there is a list add us on.

We just booked to sail on this cruise! It will be my mother, father, daughter (age 5 and a 1/2, as she says), and myself. We're in GTY verandah rooms. This is my daughter's 4th, my mother's and my 3rd, and my father's second. looking forward to some relaxation and fun.

I finished the online check-in and decided this sailing must have a lot of availability since I was able to book Palo brunch, Palo dinner, and get an early check-in time. Yay!

Has anyone inquired if there will be a character breakfast?

I asked several questions on the board and no one has answered yet.
If there is a CB

They did mention that the 6 nighter had a formal & semi formal nights

I have been on overload in planning since I just booked a few days ago.
So far, I have our flights coming in on the 14th
the Marriott at IAH for the night of the 14th (anyone else?)
And transfers from Marriott to terminal.

Later I plan to book 2 nights post cruise in Galveston
then have to book some type of transfers from galveston back to IAH.
Disney said I could only book the transfers from Gal only if I stayed at Hotel Galvez. And my DD would have a hreat attack if I booked there. She has read all about the hauntings

Thanks Becca! I've never participated in the FE before, but since we don't have to fly and it may be a small group, I'll think about it.

I'm trying to look at excursions. I would like to go to Nachi Cocom, but it seems that we're only in Cozumel for a short time. Hmmm...

Hi! We just signed up for this sailing. So excited to be here. We are on the Oct 27 sailing that leaves next week without my oldest son because he can't miss school so this is our "do-over" cruise since he gets out on Dec 12. Our first Disney Cruise was around this time of year on the Magic back in 09 and we are looking forward to seeing the holly, gingerbread house, Christmas tree and all the lovely things they do again. We would love to get in on the FE exchange if there is one happening. Thank you!
