We are coming from the uk on nov 1st

We are a party of 8 adults, one 4 year old and then two year old twins

We are on the ddp and i have booked adrs

When we get to the restaurant will they split the bills

So me, dh, dd2, dd2

Then my mum, dad and sister

Then mother in law, brother in law, sister in law and nephew who is 4

Can this be done anyone know?

Just let the waiter know when you order who will be on what ticket and they should be able to do it with no problems. We once had two families on the dining plan and one family not on the dining plan, and they were able to separate the bills for us with no problems.

Have a great trip!!!

Thats good to know, was worried about the tip and splitting that equally :-(

Im so pleased its doable, makes my life easier as the trip organiser :-)

It's not a problem. I've been there on business trips and it's very common to split the bill with other people. Just tell the server ahead of time. Have fun!

As long as you are not using a TIW card you can have the bill split. If you use the TIW for parts of the meals - or drinks - those must all be on the same bill.

No tiw card just regular ddp and cash for tips :-)

So pleased its easy to do been worrying about it all week

We're in a similar situation. There are 6 of us on each ADR. Four of us (my family) will be using a first dining plan and the other two (my parents) will be using a second dining plan.

My question is, since we're a party of at least 6, how do they handle the automatic 18% gratuity? Does each dining plan group at the table (i.e., our group of 4 and my parents group of 2) simply have 18% added to whatever their group ordered?

From the tipping sticky (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2300858):
Parties of 6 include everyone at the table, including children under 3 and infants. If you are dining with another group and paying separate, you are still subject to the 18% gratuity added to the bill. Each group at the table can get their own bill with their portion of the gratuity split out.
