Presenting - Pumpkin Planning Project.........A PTR Production!!!

The shirts look great. My maleficent shirt came in the other day. I am now looking for a maleficent horns headbands to wear.

Which Nbc harveys bag are you looking at getting? I am so glad that girl is getting her own bag. I wonder if she will highjack this tr too. Looking forward to your trip.

Hi Minnie Sue - I don't know if you have one near you but check out Big W - they currently have some cute Minnie Mouse clothes (t-shirts, jackets, shorts) and accessories (hair pieces, sun glasses, small bags) for pre-teens! Not sure if your daughter is past that age though, might be a bit childish but always worth a look :) Your trip is getting closer, how exciting!

Your DD is so lucky having such a thoughtful Mum :goodvibes If you're really worried about Girl's condition, have you thought about taking her to a dolly doctor?

I love your new shirts, and I can't wait to see your Halloween outfits!

And congrats on the ESTAs too - always good to know that you'll be allowed into the country lol! :thumbsup2

Hey Sue

How's all the planning going for your trip going??

Wish I could go this month nut Im off to Disneyworld in May 2013 with one of my friends.

Hi girls:wave2:

So sorry to have been neglecting the PTR, but boy has it been a mad house lately!!! I have been super busy at work trying to do 2 peoples jobs at once and trying to tie a teenager down to a costume photo session is near impossible.................especially when it's school holidays:upsidedow

So, I do solemnly swear to have a HUGE update tomorrow night complete with pictures, news AND an updated itinerary!!!!

Until then...................thanks for comimg along!!!! I really do appreciate it:goodvibes

YAY you are sooo close! We are back now from ours, and had fun, it was soooo HOT there though.

Oh Wow, you are back already!!!! Glad to hear you had fun and can't wait to hear all about it and I hope you took loads of photos!!!

I have been watching the weather every single day................I sure hope it cools down a bit over the next 2 weeks! It is starting to get very warm over here leading up to our summer and I was hoping to avoid the heat when we get to the States!!! Fingers crossed!

So, how was Carsland and was it as good as I have been reading about for the last few months?! I can't wait to get some fab night time shots of all the neon!

So, a trip report is on the way???!!!::yes::

Heeeerrrrrrreeeee weeeeeeeee goooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

MEGA UPDATE ( as promised! )

Strap yourself in folks, you are in for a ride of mega proportions with pic overload!!! ( Kinda like a Disneyland ride without the motion sickness!!! )

So, it has been a very busy household around here lately with getting the few last minute things organised. I have successfully done all our ADR's and have some new places in the itinerary where we haven't eaten before!:thumbsup2

I have also had to make a major change in that we will not be catching the train out to Simi Valley for the Walt Disney archives exhibition. The main reason is that DH does not want his 2 leading ladies getting off a train in the middle of nowhere with no attendant, no phone, no anything! There are also no connecting buses out to the museum and it would have cost $40.00 each way in a cab. I knew there was nothing but just a platform, but what I didn't know is that Amtrak are not known for their reliability in running on time and we didn't want to be stuck at the station on our own in the dark for the return trip. I am a little disappointed as I was looking forward to catching the train, but am not willing to risk our safety.
So, I have met a wonderful lady on a Facebook group I belong to who has offered to drive us if she can get a sitter. I can get my money back on the train tickets and so in the event we don't make it out there I will be only be out of pocket for the tickets. So, hopefully we can still make it out there........fingers crossed;)

Now, onto the itinerary. This is it, the final one, set in concrete.......etc etc!!!!

DAY 1 - Depart Sydney 2:40pm Wednesday 24th October

Please excuse the crinkles and I am sure she will actually do her hair the day of the party :lmao: It does have a wig too, but she is not too sure if she will wear it. I think if we can get it to fit properly she may, but not if it's hot!

So, that's about it! The only thing to do now is wait!!!

Let me know what you think!

Oh and.......................

19 sleeps to go!!!!:woohoo:

Just a quick reply in the car, we're both going to the Halloween party on Monday the 29th! We have Belle, Alice, Mad Hatter & an unknown in our party :goodvibes I'll keep an eye out for you guys!

Carsland at night was amazing... I am working on the TR today, just uploading pics and such. We had camera malfunctions (battery would not hold charge...) so we have a lot with our phones so not the best quality! It was a good time, lots to do, and I can't wait to go back at the end of next month.:cheer2:

I love your journal - what a great idea! Can't wait for your TR already :rotfl2:

And your t-shirt looks so awesome! :thumbsup2 I think I've already seen DD's costume somewhere :confused3 but she looks very pretty in it. I think since she already has pretty dark hair she probably wouldn't need the wig if it's too uncomfortable.

I hope you still get to go to the archives exhibition. What a shame the train won't work out. But hey, worst case, who's complaining about an extra day at DLR :lmao:

Ok, I am excited. No, wait, I am very excited. No, that's not right. I am this

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

excited!!!!!!!

Have been finishing off some last minute things. I made DD her pressed penny tubes. One for the quarters and pennies and one for the actual pressed pennies themselves. They came up quite well!

Printed off our tickets to the El Captain theatre as I had them sitting in the holiday folder and hadn't printed them yet! Also scanned our passports so I have an electronic copy, just in case!!!

The suitcases are being dusted off and will be starting to receive items real soon! Packing lists have also been printed to ensure we do not miss anything:thumbsup2

DD is off for a hair cut this week and we will be out and about to buy the essentials next weekend. I have some money to cash in this week so hoping the dollar goes up a tad!

So, the travel folder is all packed and ready to go. I keep looking at it in anticipation!

Just 10 more sleeps....................can't wait to do the single digit dance!!!
