Okay Moms & Dads....
I'm putting the last touches on everything for our rapidly approaching trip. DD8 has been working her tushie off to earn this trip & I wanted to really make it all as special as I can.
I've gathered up tons of little disney souvenirs (like a new Tink hat, sparkly pink princess shoes, her favorite bubble gums, Tinkerbell pixie sticks, new earrings, etc..... I've been clearance shopping for MONTHS, lol.) and I've bagged it all up in a Princess bag along with a pre-printed kids journal so she can keep notes of her favorite things in each park.
I want to pretend it's a reward 'gift' from her favorite characters & plan to sneak it into the room by running ahead of DH & DD & setting it up while they unload the car.
I put together a poem by modifying one I found online but I'm struggling with the very last 2 lines... can anyone help me make this make sense?? I've changed 'surprises' to 'gifts' to 'souvenirs' & no matter what I do I can't rhyme it together the way the rest of it flows... that last line is just there to have something there... I can change any of it so long as the 'gift' part gets expressed.
I'm going to use images of her fave characters to decorate the page when I print it:
Dear XXXXXXX,
Welcome to Disney, were so glad you are here!
We have all kinds of new things we cant wait to share.
Theres so much to do and so much to see
And fun for all kids from age 1 to 93.
From Main Street to the Castle, oh what fun!
Rides and Parades and playing in the Sun.
Mickey and Minnie and all their pals
Alice and friends and the Princess Gals!
Magic Mountains, roller-coasters and the famous Peter Pan,
Tea Cups and Dumbo and Pirates of the Carribbean.
When the day grows long and the sky grows dark
Its time for Fireworks before you leave the park!
So kick back, relax and enjoy these surprises
Our Gift to you, Princess, for just being YOU!
HELP! LOL!
