I just noticed you're doing Le Cellier for your anniversary. Hopefully they give you a personalized menu that you get to keep!!! We got one this summer. Soooooo cute!!! :goodvibes

Hmmm. We did Le Cellier for our anniversary in 2009 and did not get a personalized menu.

But when we did Coral Reef in 2007 for my birthday, we did get a "personalized" menu -- with my name spelled wrong. "Debroah" -- Sheesh! And they told me that it was the menu for DDP and we could only order off of it -- the selection was very limited. Everyone has told me that there has never been separate menus for DDP but I can promise you (because I still have it) that this was a different menu created for DDP users at Coral Reef in 2007. Dh got one also, but his wasn't personalized.

I will be in Magic Kingdom on the 18th for my birthday! Maybe I will see you there! I will have my button on!:wave2:

Don't forget to wear your Lime Green Mickey Head also. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, just search the boards for Lime Green MIckey Head or LGMH.)

Wow, that is a lot of ADRs! The only places we are thinking of eating at are the Prime Time and also going to the Hoop De Doo Revue since we've never done that before.

Dh loves to eat out. If this trip were by myself or with someone else, I doubt there would be that many ADRs. But meals are THE highlight of the trip for him (well, that and getting to try beers that aren't available in our area). The restaurants in there for me are 50s Prime Time, Liberty Tree, Trail's End, and Tutto Italia -- all ones we haven't been to before. I'm adventurous and like to try new things, dh likes to stick with the familiar. Also, I'm more interested in some of the counter service selections -- lobster roll at Columbia Harbor House, sandwiches from Starring Rolls, and the new options that will be available at Boulangerie Patisserie.

Oh, it's my DH that's in the military, and if the flag retreat involves people looking at him, count him out....he's pretty shy. :p

Except for this summer when he was recognized during a Red Sox game in front of all Fenway Park - he ate that up!!! :goodvibes

I remember hearing about that day at Fenway on the news. Thank you to him!!!
We don't have a military disc. But got 40% off at the BC in Aug. of 2010 and 30% off Poly last yr. I wouldn't stay there if it wasn't for those discounts!

We love eating out too especially on vacation. Your ADRs look great! I almost forgot about Be Our Guest. We'll only be in the Parks 1 day :( so I definately want to eat there!!
There are other resort restaurants that we love so since we'll have a car we can go to those anytime. :)
I LOVE the Patisserie!! Looking forward to the new options there too!
I can't believe I'll be making ADRs before I even book the flights!! That's scary. I hope I don't need to cancel them all b/c the flights are ridiculous.

I thought all the signature restaurants gave personalized menus. We got a few of them on our anniversary trip in 2008. Make sure you them know in the reservation. :)
Most of them just said happy anniversary but Narcoossees said our name on them and of course V& A.

We had to change our dates to 4/27-5/4. Just one week later than what we were planning. A little bummed out about it for a couple of silly reasons, but really glad we are still going and that the price didn't change at all! Now, to figure out how to change my little countdown ticker thingy. :scratchin

Ok I did the search. Now I'm going to have to figure out how to make some! It's a great idea. Thanks!

pwdebbie ~ we have made a change of our reservations....shocking I know. ;)

We are now doing our entire stay at BC (4/18-4/28). :goodvibes

I have seen posts about the lime green mickeys before - what do they mean if you don't mind me asking!

**Edit** Nevermind! I went and looked!

Thanks!

You know with the Flower and Garden Show going on during our visits to Disney - would anyone be interested in decorating our LGMH with like say a pink or purple flower on the ear or something to signifiy we are from the April 2013 thread?

Sounds kinda silly - but it would definitely be something we would understand and would be able to pick out if we saw one.

I may make one and post a pic if anyone is interested in seeing what I had in mind.... or are there any other ideas? We could be very simple and put April 2013 on ours... instead of being incognito! lol I guess my military ways are starting to show through! Ha!

Sounds good to me! I think someone should take up making them for a business! :thumbsup2 I would buy!

I thought they discontinued the Mickey heads at Home Depot. :sad1:

On another note

Check out "The Creative Community" here on the DIS. Someone there in the past has made them or you might find templates there for them.

Club level or not? Curious as to why you made the change.

The last time I went was in November and someone had made up LGMHs with turkeys on them that we could download and laminate. As I mentioned above, a good place to check for how to do this would be The Creative Community.

Umm, I think someone has. Check The Creative Community. I think I am starting to sound like a broken record. :)

No CL, just a regular room. :goodvibes

DH wasn't really feeling the split stay, and prefers to be settled in one place. Plus, we were thinking about how this was supposed to be a "budget" trip after our $9500 extravaganza this summer....:scared1:

The April trip as it was configured was approaching $7500....not quite budget...so we scaled it back a bit (DH wouldn't give up deluxe, he likes the inside corriders), so we'll try out Beach Club!!! and save close to $2k in doing so...:dance3:

Yay!!!! Adding our family to the April 2013. Happy dancers!!! Woohooo:yay::yay::yay:
We are traveling over from Australia so it's a month long holiday for us.. (. Being me Vicky 35, hubby Jeff 37, oldest son Alex who turns 10 while we are over there and our youngest son Axel who will be 6..)
We leave Australia on the 14th April heading straight to Orlando.. 2 days at universal ,1 day at Sea world. 2 days at legoland and also a few days combined at nick hotel. With also a couple days in between doing not much....lol

23rd April we will check into POP Century woohoo..!!!! We leave WDW on the 4th May and head over to a 7 day cruise on the Fantasy. After the cruise we have 3 days to rest up and see the space centre and then fly home!!!!

Wow. That is a lot of typing...lol

Add my family as well, please! DH agreed to a Disney vacation late Friday night, if I could do it for half of what I'd priced out a few months ago! I've always wanted to stay at the Poly, but that will have to wait, I guess!

We assumed guardianship of my H's 14 y.o. niece last March. The child had been severely neglected and abused. The week after we took her we went on a spring vacation to the beach. She was amazed. She had never even eaten in a restaurant before. Seeing WDW through the eyes of a child who has never experienced something like this before, will be sooo neat!

We drive down Fri. 3/29 and will stay off property for the night, then check into CSR 3/30 - 4/6. DH, DS 15, DN 14, and me!

I actually made ADR's this AM! Unfortunately, 'Ohana and Chef Mickeys aren't up yet!

So sign us up with the other crazy folks taking on Easter break! (I'll need to find some Valium for DH, I'm afraid, he's not the most patient person):)

Oh yes, to see the look on your niece's face as she sees Disney will be priceless. I'm sure it will be a great trip.

I saw a post last night on another thread from someone who just happened to check to see if there was a pin code attached to their name. When she called she found out that indeed there was and that it was a nice discount for April. We all need to call!

For april 2013?!!? I haven't heard of anyone having pins for that time.....I think I did read about people getting them for next july/aug, but that's it for 2013
