Just wanted to share my experience at the festival this past Saturday. We arrived around 11:15am and parked at the Main Entrance. The Yacht and Beach clubs were on tight security as well as the Boardwalk so our plan to enter through the international gateway was foiled. parking wasn't too bad. We parked in the Discovery lot and walked to the entrance instead if taking the tram. We made a right at the entrance to world showcase and headed in the direction of Canada. Despite being the first Saturday of the festival, the lines were not long at all! The park was also not as crowded as we had anticipated. I had my gift card from last year that I keep on a lanyard and reloaded it with money to use at the kiosks. Overall I spent around $60. Here is what I had. If anyone has any questions just let me know!!

I was just wondering what you meant by that. Did they ask for your room key if entering at the IG? Or was it the parking that was the security issue?

Oh, and I forgot to ask how the size of the pumpkin mousse was? Last year it was so tiny and I really liked it, so I got a second one. Is it any larger this year?

May I add: MMMMMMMMMM!!

I love lobster so much my husband gets me a whole lobster from the supermarket every week.... And he feels so guilty cooking it although it's pre-cooked, he can't look at it when he cooks it. He feels like it's staring at him, haha :)

Anyway, this lobster claw is on the top of my list!!

Oh, ok, I had that last year. I didn't recall it being called a cuddler. Yum! I will be having that on my trip in 18 days! :cool1: And you are so lucky, I wish my DH would buy me a lobster every week! I love lobster too!

If I want to park at the Yacht/Beach to go to Beaches & Cream OR I want to park at the Boardwalk to go to ESPN, I would not be allowed? Were they giving any type of limited parking times?

How about valet parking?

Every WEEK!? You wanna share your husband? lol... j/k!

DH went to Maine for work this past summer and was able to bring home 3 live lobsters.. it was AWESOME!

The cuddler is fantastic & so is the roll... love them both and can't wait to have them on Friday!

To the OP, how was the Nesquick foam? I want to get this for DD... hoping she likes it.

Depends on how much you'll pay? Haha! Yeah I'm ridiculously spoilt. He cooks, cleans, does the dishes, the laundry.... True English gentleman <3<3<3 :)

I believe if you choose to Valet Park they will let you. I know at Boardwalk you have to be a registered guest of the resort to be able to self park. They check at the gate & the entrance to the parking areas. Sometimes they let people park in the lot across the street behind the Hess Station for dining at the Boardwalk but I believe it fills up early. They are extremely strict during F & W & most weekends.

Want to make sure I answer everyone:

Parking was the actual issue. My father told the security guard that he was going to ESPN and the guard told him that he only had three hours. They had a security guard monitoring the parking across the street behind the Hess station.

The lobster roll was chilled. It was amazing!!! My niece went back for seconds!

The cuddler was just ok. It didn't have much taste.

The pumpkin mousse was small, however we felt it was the perfect size to allow us not to over indulge! It was delicious! The size actually didn't bother us. My sister and I shared it.

The nesquick foam wasn't so great. It tasted watered down. I was disappointed.

That is not good news for DH about the three hour parking. He always has two friends who live in the area drive over on Sunday and meet him at ESPN Zone. They stay there watching football allll dayyy, from like 11 am to 6 pm, if not longer. Not sure how that is going to work if they are only going to be allowed to park for three hours. :confused3

Silly question (I have never had lobster, its not really a big thing here) but how do you eat something like that?

I wonder if we could valet park at the Swan or Dolphin and walk or take the boat over?

Thank you.

Ha ha we must have the same taste in food because the majority of food you listed is on my list as well.

So what was your favorite item and why ?

Park at DDD and take the bus to Boardwalk. Lots of space by Cirque d'soleil

Or park at DHS and take the boat over to the IG entrance of Epcot.
