Hi everyone Hope y'all are doing well today! I just have to say how much I'm lovin' the weather where I am today! It actually feels like Fall! It made me want to bake so I just thought I'd share:

So I don't know where we post these kinds of things now that the Scrollie and Bacon Thread has been closed, but I heard on the news that next year there will be a worldwide bacon shortage!

Because of the corn crop shortage due to the drought in the Midwest, they will not have as much feed for the pigs, hence not as many to make bacon.

We actually eat a lot of turkey bacon at my house already, and it tastes just as great, plus it's supposed to be healthier for you Not sure how true that is though lol.
