WDW releases discounts to fill unreserved rooms. Most likely WL was not suffering from a lack of reservations.

Great pics today y'all! I have 8 more sleeps and I'll be at home! The anticipation of our room assignment is huge! Has anyone ever seen on their ressie, I think it was 4 days before our trip, we were upgraded from standard to woods. Didn't know if you could see if you were lucky enough to get pixie dust!

Yes, the room assignor assigns your room about 3-5 days prior to arrival. If there are any changes to your reservation, it will appear online at that time.

Yes, but how long will they be able to recruit new guests. I truly love Disney - otherwise I would not have bought DVC - but sometimes I do get frustrated with the way they run their business currently.

Well, maybe the fish, fresh veggies and strip loin will be just as good as the brisket, salad and pulled pork

The lunch/dinner changes just took place yesterday, so there hasn't been any indication (yet) of breakfast changes. Maybe our onsite vacationing spies will find out something

Welcome to the thread! I noticed that and immediately thought $$$ - that must be a great money-maker for WDW. Even BOG at the MK is going to be serving alcohol



ETA: I dug out my August breakfast and lunch menus that we were given and the drink list is essentially the same, it just used to be on the back of the menu.

Thank you and you're welcome. We have a point and shoot camera which I use for all of the shots except for the panoramic morning shot...

Was this taken with a panoramic option? It is a wonderful photo.

Yes I took this shot with the new panoramic photo function on our iPhone. This is a new feature that is in the iOS 6 update. It works so much better and easier than other panoramic apps that I have tried.

The BBQ Eggs Benedict is no more - it's just Eggs Benedict now.

This is new, but has no name listed - someone has to try it soon! It sounds delicious!

That is really neat, what a beautiful picture. Thanks for sharing! Now I have to start playing with the iOS 6 functionality some more. The first thing I did with it was look at WL from Bay Lake with the 3D map feature.

I assume you were able to download it over the WL WiFi. That is pretty neat in itself.

No problem! BTW, the milk shakes are still all-you-can-eat, but they're very thick. I always ask for mine w/o whipped cream so I can be sure to consume more of the ice cream

I'm thrilled w/ the idea of all u can consume milkshakes. The problem? I can usually only have 1/2 of one before I feel like a blimp. They are just SOO filling! But I'll try for the chocolate & the strawberry.

I had to laugh at a waitress there last week - I know we all "know" that if you fill up on milkshake you can't eat as much of the all-you-can eat platter, but she flat at told the table next to us that was why it was on the menu in order for people not to eat $$. Honesty is the best policy
