The Tag Fairy DOES exist!

For those who have been tagged recently, where were you posting when you got tagged?

I've been chasing the Tag Fairy for a while because I want moving ones. Believe, believe, believe. Give her cookies, and bacon. I hear she LOVES bacon.

Singing the Oscar Mayer bacon song....don't ask, I just made it up.

I got my tags on the community board. On one thread I shared the tale of breaking my leg when I fell down the stairs at Mexico in Epcot. Not a pretty story but I can laugh about my apparent clumsiness now. The other tags were just a case of the tag fairy feeling benevolent. I made my own little tags about my large family and questionable sanity in part due to the large family. But my tags weren't nifty colors like the tag fairy's tags. She must have noticed this fact at some point and fixed me up with some colors! I'm not sure which board I was on when I was gifted with the colors on my own tags.

I have a friend who thought the lyrics to that song were "Do It Like a Lady"! Yes, she is in her 40s and we just corrected her a month ago! So now whenever I hear that song I sing it like she did "Doooo it like a laaaady!"

When I heard "Fins" by Jimmy Buffet, I thought the lyrics were "They hang out in the local bars,
And they pee right off the dock"

I was belting it out one day in the car and the kids started laughing hysterically. After they were able to regain their composure they informed me of the proper lyrics: "They hang out in the local bars,
And they feed right after dark"
And here I thought my lyrics made perfect sense!! Now it is a joke in our house when we hear that song!

I am jumping for joy and dancing around my living room over my first ever tag! You would think my DH told me we could take a trip to Disneyland, well he did recently but, that's another story.

I have been using the Dis mobile app (which i am loving) exclusively the past few weeks, so I'm guessing the tag has been here for a bit.

I love my new tag and glad it reflects a significant part of who I am.

Tags are little sayings under your screen name...in your case, "Mouseketeer." You can add a tag if you want but it will be in black. The colorful sayings are the tags the TF gives. It doesn't matter how many posts you have or how long you've been on the DIS...it's a matter of luck, timing and having the TF see your posts. Make sure you post on as many sections of the DIS as you can to better your chances.

Yes you have.

Strangely, I seem to have been untagged. My text used to be in color but now its just plain, boring black.

Perhaps I did something "off color"?

Yes. I somehow had lost my sponsor icon and had to have that reinstated by the powers that be. That must be when it happened.
