Help - Luggage Tags?

Hello,
We got our package and luggage tags about 10 days ago (we are leaving the 21st). That is when I realized that I never changed the airplane information I had originaly had (ended up changing flights and times).
- So I called and they updated my flight information in the system.
- I waited for new luggage tags but they never came.
- Today I called Disney and spoke to Ace, he said I wont be recieving new luggage tags that the Tags are coded in a way that they are associated with my reservation and that it didn't matter what the tag said (i.e. it has the wrong flight number) the luggage will be picked up and delivered to my resort.

What do you all think? Should I call back and talk to someone else. Let me know ....

Thanks for the help! :confused3

I wouldn't be concerned about the flight # on the trip to WDW since all luggage coming in should be sorted out by resort ,not flight #.

Coming home I would be sure correct #'s are on new tags, since you want to lake sure your luggage gets on your flight!

Someone can correct me if that's wrong :)

When flying in, your yellow ME tags are coded with your reservation #, and what resort you are staying at. It won't matter if you come in on a different airline or flight time. Since you called Disney to tell them the new information, that should be fine.

The previous is correct. Your baggage will be sorted by resort.
The airlines should only pay attention to the tag that they put on your baggage, when you check in (your final destination will be MCO either way, so it doesn't much matter).
Disney will only pay attention to the color of the tag (coded by resort).

If I was really concerned about this, I would write the new flight information on the tags myself, just to be safe.

EDIT: Maybe all the tags are yellow (I don't remember) but it shouldn't matter anyways.

The DME tags have nothing to do with the luggage getting on the flight; in fact, you should take them off before the return flight so that the baggage handlers don't think that it needs to be pulled to go on the DME truck. The tag that the airline puts on the luggage is the one that gets it on the flight.

All DME tags are yellow.

:thumbsup2 Thats right! I was thinking we put new tags on the luggage before we head home :confused3 but you're right. They are just tagged by the airline when you check in! Thanks!
