Oh the Pressure to do a PTR -- We're Home & Surprise Video up on Facebook

It sounds like you've got a lovely morning planned! I have never been to breakfast at the Crystal Palace but the puffed french toast is making me rethink future plans.

Why not walk over to the Contemporary, hop on a DTD bus and then walk over to the Doubletree?

We actually had the car rented at the Dolphin with Alamo. However, after checking prices recently, I saved almost $125 for the ten days we have it by switching to Budget which is at the Doubletree.

Well for $125 savings I'd make the switch too! :thumbsup2

I bet you do. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

:thumbsup2 yup I was right! knew you couldn't not have your puffy french toast or see your best buddy Tigger!

no help on the rental car thing...but think the walk to the Contemporary would be the quickest way!

My Disney bucket list consists of meeting all my favorite DISer's...and you are on that list.

I understand why you didn't go last December. How is your mom doing?

I really want to get for Flower and Garden one of these years...maybe 2014 when we take the kids for their one year anniversary.

:blush: Awwww, Ms. Kat! That is about the sweetest thing anyone has said to me, you seriously made my day. :hug:
I think it goes without saying you are certainly on my list of favorite Dis'ers I'd love to meet. :goodvibes There really are some great people here on the Dis. ::yes:: I've made some really amazing friends. :grouphug:

My mom is doing pretty good, she's done with chemo and she just had the cancer removed and reconstruction done on the 24th. Now she'll just have to go through radiation.

You will absolutley LOVE the F&GF!! It's really hard to be in EPCOT when it's not going on, they make the park so beautiful you don't want to be there at any other time. :lovestruc ::yes::
Taking the kiddos for their first anniv. is a great idea, just be prepared for not wanting to be there any other time of the year after you see EPCOT in all it's splendor. :flower3:

Awwww, next to your last day. :guilty: But it's a good day since you'll be in MK, my favorite park. :lovestruc You don't do Splash or BTMR?
I love eating at Crystal Palace, it's such a beautiful restaurant. I have yet to try the puffed french toast, I wish I had tried the breakfast lasagna they use to make. :rolleyes: We try and get a ADR for 8:05 am when we go so we can get into the park before it opens and get pics in front of the Castle without all the people in the picture.
It's so amazing to walk down the middle of Main St. without all the people crowding you. :crowded: :goodvibes I feel like I can take my time and enjoy Main St. :cool1:

The next morning, Friday, we have no breakfast plans. We will be heading to Epcot and Nicki has made ADR's at Chefs de France (a first for Mark and I and Andy);

You will love Chefs. Can't believe you haven't been there yet. :thumbsup2

Oh - you have eating at my favorite breakfast buffet. I loved that puffed french toast. So good. Love Mark's Eeyore ears.

Hmmmmm - not sure how far down the road the double tree is, but if its close to DTD you could probably just walk from the Marketplace at DTD to there. Or take a cab from DTD.

More great plans!

My goodness I was so far behind!

I love the gown you posted....and Alicia has the shape to wear it beautifully. Did she go back to dress number one or is she still thinking about the second? Planning the wedding is fun...i hope she enjoys it drama free!

Your days sound just lovely. I love the nothing day. Some day i will do that...but probably not soon! DOES boma serve jungle juice? We had it in June and boy was it good!

I knew your MK breakfast had to be Crystal Palace to see Tigger! That buffet sounds tempting...i am intrigued by fluffy french toast!

Mark is so going to love his surprise. HMmm but i think Disney may frown on the flashing!!!

Enjoy your dismeet at the zoo!

CP is a must for us every trip too. But can you believe that I have never tried the puffed french toast :confused3 I think I'm going to have to remedy that in Nov.

That sounds like a great morning in MK! :thumbsup2 I figured you would work in a breakfast at Crystal Palace. :goodvibes

I know exactly what you mean about packing better/faster without the hubby there. I'm the same way. In fact, I'm hoping I can have Reid stay at school a little later than normal (with the stay & play bunch) on the day I'll be packing. It's just so much easier when you're by yourself.

I can't wait to hear about the plans for that night!

We are hoping to pop over to the Swan or Dolphin to meet Shannon84 who will be there prior to marrying her sweetie, Tim, whom she met here on the DIS.

It would be nice for someone to let me in on this. :rolleyes:

:rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

Your plans sounds great! Even splitting the fiber one bar! :sad2: :crazy2::crazy2:

My mom is doing pretty good, she's done with chemo and she just had the cancer removed and reconstruction done on the 24th. Now she'll just have to go through radiation.

Glad to hear everything is going as planned. So sorry she has to do the radiation.. I'm sure that is going to be harder than the chemo. :grouphug:

Kathy I am so behind & trying to catch up.

So sorry about MIL. At least all the paperwork is done. Hopefully the treatments will go ok. Prayers for you all and your brother.

Your plans look good!!:thumbsup2 Love that Dawna Bar. I got my Lost On Safari there in April. So good!!

The house is so cute. I bet they are very excited. It is a great feeling buying your first house.

I have to leave for work but will get caught up later.

I love the surprises you have planned for Mark. I'm sure he'll have a great time!

I always love seeing the pictures of Halloween decorations at MK. I'd love to get there sometime to see them in person, but that time of year, it will likely never happen.:sad2:

sounds like a fun way to celebrate Mark's birthday....well all except the flashing :scared1::lmao:
Well it is Mark's birthday! Maybe Kathy should go with Mark's opinion on that one........... ;)
Ooooooooohhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a great plan!!!! I hope when you find tix they are cheap.

I knew you guys were close but :eek:
:lmao:
I personally think the "flashing" part sounds like a man's ideal birthday! :laughing:
::yes::
If it's not too late, I'll probably suggest that Mark go take a swim

Day6108.jpg
(nope, Andy won't be with him)

as I pack much better when he is not around getting in my way.
I guess that makes it easier to hide all those extra souvenir purchases Mark doesn't know about........... :rotfl:

:woohoo: for the Crystal Palace breakfast!!! Don't think I have tried the puffed French Toast, so I need to make sure I do that next time I go. I know you will love that one and seeing all your pals, especially Tigger.

Can't wait to hear about Chefs de France! That one is on my list to try sometime. It is the one restaurant in France that has enough options on the menu that catch my interest. Since I helped you out with the 50s PT update on my TR, I expect a very prompt review as soon as you get back.......... :rotfl2:
We actually had the car rented at the Dolphin with Alamo. However, after checking prices recently, I saved almost $125 for the ten days we have it by switching to Budget which is at the Doubletree.
Hopefully it won't cost most of that to take a cab and pick it up....... :confused3

Ok so I just hung up with you but remember, walk from DTD to Double Tree, its right across the street at the far end of DTD, past the gas station and stuff.

And for anyone that is in those WDW restaurants in Dec that my bestie mentioned please keep your ears open for the Happy Birthday song...my mission is to get the entire restaurants singing to Mark...yeah, at every single meal....and yeah, maybe counter service too!

And hey, its not going to be just me flashing...Todd is in on it too! We are both gonna flash him!

Good thing Todd is participating............. ;) :lmao:

Oh Dear, I was 20 pages behind!! SO sorry. I know I have told you but I am sorry to hear about Mark's Mom and your Brother. I am keeping them in my prayers. Your Sep trip details sound fun except they are missing us :sad2: I am looking forward to meeting the infamous Nicki in Oct though :)

Responses when I get home after going to see my mother on my way home from work. But wanted to tell you we've made two changes to the September trip...details tonight. ;)
