Christmas in Disneyland should be great!! I am definitely curious about Disney's Hilton Head Resort- we live in VA so it is not too far, and I would love to read a trip report (even a mini one) about it!

Since we are doing DDP on our next trip (June 2013, so far away, ack!) I must do Yak & Yeti!! the counter service is our favorite CS in the world, and the table service just looks so gorgeous inside! Can't wait!

It's too bad it was sooo crowded that day, but at least you guys can laugh about it!

You must be excited to get to see Preston soon- hope you have a really fun visit! When do you guys start classes again, not too much longer after that right?

As a south carolina girl I have to say yea for Hilton Head. I haven't stay at the resort but Hilton head is really nice and if you have a chance and haven't been to Savannah GA, it's not that far of a drive you should drive down and check it out some. It's like a hour but there's some cool stuff there.

I'm really excited to be in DLR for New Year's Eve since I was in the opposite Disney Park for NYE last year! It's like a dream come true! I would love to tell you about Hilton Head... it sounds amazing!

So glad for you and your family that you have a new and BETTER plan! Hilton Head to finish the summer AND Disneyland at Christmas/New Years - AWESOME!! Disney at the holidays - now you can compare the two experiences between WDW and CA. Love the "snow" on Main Street and the holiday fireworks shows. You will have an amazing time!!

Glad to see Yak & Yeti delivered excellent food! (I'll be trying it next month for the first time.)

The lo mein at Yak and Yeti looks delicious. And you're right - the wonton dish should be illegal. It's unhealthy in so many ways (well, except for the fruit and mint leaf ), but it's really delicious!

And yay for new dates to Disneyland and a trip to Hilton Head Island! Now there's even more Disney awesomeness to look forward to.

Hi Jess. Yay I'm glad you got Disneyland rescheduled I would read a trip report from Hilton Head. At least post some pictures. My parents have a time share in Hilton Head. I've biked near the Disney resort but never seen inside of it. Ok, 170 mins for Test Track and 160 for TSMM? This is why I always go during value season. lol I could never stand in line that long. I usually don't even mind waiting in the TSM standby line b/c I love the ride THAT much, but even then I think the longest I waited was like 45 minutes and that was a lot to me because like you, I know how to beat the system so 45 minutes seems nuts. I would never ever wait 160 mins! You made the right decision. I feel so bad for people who have like only one chance to ride or one trip every few years and have to do that.

They have a ton of new pillow pets since my December trip... they have pluto, tigger, eeyore, lotso, stitch, dumbo, etc. There's SO many now!

Haha I love it too. I literally don't remember the last time I went on a "normal" vacation. The two types of vacations I really like are something Disney or something tropical. I think the whole Disney obsession with my family is my own fault. But I don't think anyone's mad. It's a trusted name and we always have WONDERFUL experiences... so you can't go wrong!

I will definitely try and do a trip report! As long as I have time I would love to! And YAY yes I get to see Preston in two weeks from yesterday! I'm so excited! And yes, I think this Disneyland trip will be even better! I have way more time to plan it, now!

Yes it is! I think that was my first AK at night experience. I think. It was SO different! It felt weird!

LOL well we take our trips VERY seriously. I was upset that it was cancelled so I told my Mom I wanted to get it back on as soon as possible so it really felt like we were going! And YES ahh omg I forgot! That's AMAZING! I can't wait to see that - I have always wanted to!

LOL thanks. I use a Nikon D3100 and I use iPhoto to make them look even better! I LOVE that camera!

I know... that's all they do! They aren't huge "Disney" people but they put up with it for me and my Mom! At least there's something for everybody!

Yup, pretty much! That's okay! Yes, they are! You basically need a tripod if you want halfway decent ones and I'm not willing to lug it around!​
