Wowzer!! What great character interaction. I wish we had a Pooh character meal at Disneyland. We have the Princess's, Surf's Up which is Lilo and Stitch with classic characters in surf gear, and two classic character ones. We did have a Pooh character one but it wasn't really very popular.

Other than the little rude cm(and late to arrive extra family members the previous group) it sound like your m&g with Merida was lots of fun. I have not been able to see the pics....

The M&G was great! Loved the details to the movie at the M&G!

I MUST see Merida, please!!! I want a BRAVE shirt for Lisa, with the wording like on the movie posters...Really I want a dress that says Brave, how cool would that be? I REALLy want ot see the movie, can't wait for it to come out on DVD so we can see it...I know, I have a long wait!

I hope you can see the movie before it comes out on DVD! Do you have a cheap show near you? We use to have a $2 Cinema that played the movies as soon as they came out of the theaters.

At least in the beginning of the movie Princess Lisa is nothing like Princess Merida. Lisa is definately more like Belle (sweet, looking out for others, etc). Mid movie, the only similarity to Lisa and Merida is that fighting spirit and perseverence. Near the end of the movie, I would say there are some definate similarities.

on his growing, does the dr get his meds adjusted each time? my brother had a growth spurt one summer of 3 inches and they didn't adjust his epilepsy meds and had a grand mal..

Yes, he'll probably need a dosage adjustment. But he's lost some weight, so maybe not? He goes back in Sept to the the, but will see the NP instead this time. I'm sure they'll send an order for blood work before the appointment. If we have any problems before that, you know I will be on the phone fast and calling for labs asap!

What an AWESOME Crystal Palace Update!!! I LOVE it!!! The pics are greta and the food looks Yummy! We have never eaten there, sounds fun though...of course we haven't eaten MOST places at Disney...JJ looks so happy!

And I LOVED the new Merida Pics, I love her BRAVEness...reminds my of my brave Princess...

I LOVE CP for supper, haven't made it there the last couple of times , but am putting it on my list for 2013!!!

DLR is quite a bit smaller. WDW has quite a few character meals at the resorts and the parks. When Grumpy was little we use to eat at them frequently. Seems like once they started having DDP the oop prices went through the roof.



We have 2 pending ADRs. One is for Le Cellier and the other for the Captain's Grills breakfast. Le Cellier will be new for us. Captain's Grille is an old favorite of mine, but not so favorite for dh. Le Cellier will be for lunch. I've been reading some food reviews here and I'm a bit worried. Twice in the past we had ADRs and I cancelled. This time we are going to stick with it and give it a try.

I know I won't get the cheese soup since I've had it every year at the F&W Festival. I love it, but want to try something new. I'm trying to decide between the filet, NY strip, or the Prix Fixe Lunch? Prix Fixe Lunch Menu

This is the only thing we have planned that day, so we have all the time in the world if it takes forever as I am reading in quite a few reviews.

After Merida, we stopped by SMK kiosk behind the Christmas store to pick up our pack of cards. Heading to the portal at Tortuga Tavern we passed Donald Duck. He had only 1 person in line waiting for him. As our luck would have it, another family raced in, smack in front of Anakins w/c. Yes they saw us, but they just had to be first I guess. Not even an excuse me. They too suddenly had more people joining them in line. Then things became interesting. Their little boy DID NOT want to see Donald. He began kicking and punching the dad in every effort to get out of there, as the parents tried to encourage him to see Donald. Took both the mom and dad to calm him down, as all but the little girl got out of line. So only she went in to see Donald. I don't think anyone even took her picture. I felt so bad for her. Donald, the photopass guy and the character attendant all thought she was with us, and they seemed surprised she was there all by herself.

Anakin loved Donald. But he said this Donald was not the same. How did he know? He felt completely different. The "feathers" weren't the same. He said this Donald felt scruffy not soft. (I can't help but wonder if he just felt Donald's clothing?)

From here we played a round of SMK and defeated another villian. Our next mission takes us to Fantasyland.

The magic carpet ride is one of Anakin's favorite rides at the MK. We don't ride it often, but there was no line at all, so he and Goofy rode. Anakin tries so hard to get squirted by the camel.

I did some window shopping both before and after our ADR for CP. Here are some new finds. Mickey/Minnie Harvey's bags at Downtown Jewelers and Castle items at the Main St. Cinema. I really liked the woven bag! I did good, I did not impulse buy, though I sure was tempted!!

I also wanted to share that in the evenings we have been doing some of Anakin's school work. He just started the 2nd grade Abeka curriculum. He has been seizure free since late at night on June 10th. I am amazed at the improvements he has made since being seizure free. Back in May he had very little concept of boundaries, and terrible control of his pencil. This past week he is able to understand boundaries and control his pencil!! Here's a sample!!

I've already said it on Facebook but I'll say it again....Hallelujah! for so many seizure free days! I'll continue to pray for him and that his next goal will be to reach a whole seizure free month (and then two months, three months, etc. etc. etc.!)

I don't get people. In such a terrible hurry that that have to be rude. It's not like there was a huge wait if they did it properly. Then to forget the little girl, that is bad too.

Thank you! He did get a Star Wars sticker today! He wrote to, too, tot, and toot in cursive. There were some tears at first. He doesn't understand that it takes practice and he gets so angry when he doesn't do it perfect the first time.

Reading is still such a struggle. He is back to being able to blend two letters together, but that 3rd letter just confuses him. It takes him a long time to sound them out.

We sure appreciate the continued prayers. I can't wait to say a month seizure free! We are convinced that diet has alot to do with it. He has been eating grilled chicken instead of chicken nuggets and not eating much pizza. Perhaps if he went to a completely gluten free diet? He also isn't drinking as many juice boxes. After all we read about arsenic in them we cut him down to one juice box a day. Can't wait til we can squeeze our own oranges! He has only been drinking water, milk or orange juice. He was Vitamin D deficient so maybe his D levels back up are making the difference too?

We have come to the conclusion that many are skooter or w/c blind. Been to the parks with both bouncycat and littlebelle. They were constantly being cut off by people. Good thing they are good drivers or those people would have had some nasty leg injuries.

Thanks everyone!! We are seeing improvements in many areas. He is able to think clearer, his memory is improving, his handwriting improved, he isn't hiding under the table every time he hears an unexpected noise, and he was able to walk both up and down a few steps, unassisted, the other day.
