Haha I have to say, we southerners are pretty friendly. Everytime my family from PA comes to visit they are shocked by how nice everyone is down here!

That sounds like a fun family day! We don't have Disney Stores around here anymore either. My sister used to work at the Disney Store in our mall, and when it closed they sent her two days of free park tickets!

AHHH thank you for the Full House screenshot. My all time favorite show EVER. Last night I watched the episode where Stephanie dances to Motown Philly by Boyz II Men. LOVE IT.

It was! Isn't it so sad!? It depresses me. But then again, I would probably be broke if we did, considering the amount of money I spend in Disney...

Thank you so much! No it didn't! It lasted a couple hours though! And it didn't fall completely flat!

It was! I've only stayed there and at French Quarter, although I've been to Riverside. I'd say that French Quarter is still my favorite mod, but that's mainly due to size and nostalgia.​

I agree with you about the whole southern sweetheart thing!! I swear it's the warm weather! I'm from VT, and let me tell you, even though everyone waves at everyone like they know them, it is NOT the same as the hospitality you receive in the south! It's crazy! I love it though! Plus, they have amazing food!!!! We don't have a Disney store anywhere NEAR us!!! It's awful! When I find them, I get soooo excited!!!

I did! I loved it! Definitely a totally different experience from Disney World, but still incredible and magical in its own way. Disney World will always hold a special place in my heart and will always be my favorite, but there are certain things about Disneyland that I absolutely LOVE.

For one, Disneyland is much smaller, which I thought was actually really nice. I was never bored and I never felt like it needed more, and it was nice to be able to walk everywhere. Also, Disneyland has a much more classic Disney feel to it. I really feel Walt's love and presence when I'm there. It has a much more nostalgic and comfortable atmosphere. Also, Downtown Disney had a very cool layout and I LOVE the dining options there. California Adventure might be my 2nd favorite Disney park because it has so much uniqueness to offer and an array of atmospheres all in one place.

That being said, Disney World is still my all-time favorite because it has more to offer and feels like more of an experience to me. Also, I grew up going there, so MY personal nostalgic feeling lies in Florida. Plus, certain Disney favorites of mine are there, such as Figment, DHS, school bread and World Showcase.

I try not to compare them to each other all that much because I truly do LOVE both resorts. They're both so different from each other that I try not to put them on the same pedestal, so to speak.​

Growing up I Have been to Disneyland at least 25 times as I lived in the Southern California area. I have been to Disney World twice and still regard it as my favorite. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said it's an experience to go to Disney World. The immersion by staying on site in Florida allows one to totally leave the real world behind be bombarded with everything Disney 24/7, nothing quite like it anywhere.

I have never tried School Bread, Red Velvet Cupcake or seen Muppet Vision 3d. Your TR's has given My Family and I many things to look forward too as we head back this upcoming Christmas.

I agree with the others that you looked amazingly stunning at prom!
And YAY for no more braces, I still remember the feeling when you get them off... your teeth feel so slimey and big...and odd...but great.
Your drive looks so fun! We drove from California last time we went and it was so great! Crazy but great! You get to see soooo much! and there is such a massive buildup.
Also full house makes every road trip at least 84% better!
Best show everrrrr! I used to watch it daily...although my parents banned me at one stage. I was about 11 and I pierced my ears myself after watching Steph let Kimmy do it.
And Uncle Jesse... I can't even....
Driving through those gates is the BEST feeling!!
Oh Stacey! Why are the faces you pull so amazing? Ahhh I love turning her on when you arrive! She is priceless!

You go to all my fav non-Disney food places. I love Panera, Chipotle and Chick-fil-a. So good!! I just love them. In fact, I had Chipotle last night. So delicious!

I LOVE Disney stores. How sad that you don't have one near you! I haven't for years and years and years, but we finally have one opening here in a week and a half. I'm OVER THE MOON EXCITED! It's going to be so great.

Finally got caught up on your TR. I was laughing at all your remarks about living up North. I live in upstate New York and I agree with everything you said!! People from the South are soo much nicer and laid back. And they have all the good food places..I've never been to a Bob Evans or Chik-Fil-A either!

Also, I just noticed you are staying at the BWV next time. I can't wait to see what you think of it there. I'm staying there for the first time in September!
