Who is doing F&W this year? When?

OK, I know that this is more a topic for the Restaurant board but I'm wondering if any of the regulars here on the Podcast board are planning on doing the F&W Festival.

Val & I are currently targeting October 10-17th which is Wednesday-Wednesday. We figure that gives us several week days to hit the booths before the heavier weekend crowds. It also includes the Swolphin Food Fest on the 12th and 13th. As an extra added bonus there is the annual Downs Walk on the morning of the 13th so we will finally get a chance to come out and be part of Ferris' Funky Bunch.

Anybody else got plans?

I'm not sure. I was thinking of taking down the GKTW money and maybe doing F&W (I have never done), and then the buddy walk......however, after yesterday, I may like to take in the NE meet for the weekend in Sept. and then head to Orlando then.

Oct. 26th - Nov. 1st, my very first F&W!!

We will be there twice. Sept 28-Oct. 1 (mainly for the RunDisney event). Then again Nov.2-12. We will not do too much the first weekend, but will hit it hard in November!

Originally we planned Sept. 29 - Oct. 21...then work messed that up, so now we're going down Sept. 21 - Oct. 8. The first week concentrating on our favorite restaurants, then the second week will be devoted to the Food and Wine Festival.

looks like 10/12 and 10/13 is Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine also. Jeff and Val you need to try this out. Each has its old flavor, but I prefer the Swan and Dolphin after going last year. Both are great.

We'll be at WDW from 10/13 - 10/20, and I'm bummed we won't get there until late on 10/13 so I miss the Swan/Dolphin event!
We will be hitting F&W a couple days (I think the 15th and one other time at least!) and going to MNSSHP on 10/16.

I'm not a regular poster (though I should be! I gotta work on that).. I'll be in WDW from Sept 28th - Oct 1st. I'm running the ToT 5k ... it's my first 5k ever so I'm a bit nervous/excited!

I think I will be hitting up Epcot on Sunday September 30th! If anyone wants to say hi let me know!

Congrats on your first 5K, don't worry...you will have a blast! I've only done one 5k, one 10k, one 15k, and a haf-marathon...all at WDW, absolutely the funnest place to run. Okay, full disclosure , I'm a walker.

We will be there 10-12 to 10-15 and we will also be at the Swalphin F&W classic. We went last year and had a great time. We are also going to try and hit MNSSHP on Sunday night. I think we now have plans for Sat. morning also if we get to walk with Ferris. See you there and hopefully we can talk on the Podcast.

you don't sound like much of a walker to me! You mean you walked a half marathon?!? Either way you did it though right?

Thanks for the encouragement.. I'm pretty excited and also scared that I'm going to get addicted to doing Disney races. What an expensive addiction right??
