We were so relieved when finally everything fell into place.
I really hope we get a similar car - I didn't pay much attention to it at first, but now that everyone is pointing out the "smile" I hope it's going to be a nice one.

Plans for our trip to Disneyland Paris

Day 4, Tuesday, May 1

Our last day!!!!!!

We will definitely head to the bakery for fresh baguette and pastries in the morning

and have a nice and leisurely breakfast. Then we will check out of the hotel

and drive over to the garage to park the car.
I guess we will head for the Studios first and depending on how the crowds are fit in more or less rides.

Around midday we will head to EoS for lunch

before we hit the Magic Kingdom park one more time for a few more rides and a leisurely stroll through the park.

Our flight is scheduled for later in the evening, so we will leave by mid afternoon and drive to the airport.

We should arrive back home at around 11pm. Tom will have the next day off, but he has his car at the garage for inspection, so I will just drop him off at the house, then head home, fall into bed for a few hours and be leaving home again at 7am for work.

Now, just to remind you!

We will be home for TWO days!!!!!! Tom is on vacation, I will have to work Wednesday and Thursday.
Very early on Friday we will leave again (Friday is a school holiday here). This time we will be on our way to ......




ITALY!!!!!!!!!!!

We will stay for 3 days/2 nights. It's only a 5 - 6 hours drive, depending on traffic. No plans on what we are going to do, this is the very start of the season, so, if Lignano is still too "sleepy",

we decided that we will just drive to Venice for the day.

But I can promise you, there will be lots of ......

Tom and I were so relieved that everything worked out and we are able to go to Paris! Tom got his new lens yesterday and I am sure he will take a LOT of photos and so will I!

We have just "rediscovered" Italy. We used to go on holiday there every year when we were kids and it got "old" the older we got.
Last year we decided to "test drive" Tom's new car to Italy and fell in love again.

You are right, Tammie! Even though we will have to leave DLRP after 4 days, but then we are only two days out on our next vacation ....... ah, that's the good life! Don't want to think that then it will be another 100 days until our summer vacation.

Doesn't Phantom Manor (Haunted Mansion) look like the Psycho House? The ride inside is very similar to the one in WDW, a few new things though and the story behind it is different.
The Toy Story area is in the Walt Disney Studios and is the newest addition. When we last visited the lines were so long we just walked through, but didn't try any of the rides ...... we hope to be able to this time.

being caught up is wonderful! I really love to be up to date, even though with going away myself I am sure to fall behind again.
We are glad to be able to take you along (in your armchair, but wish you could come in real life!). We love those short trips, breaks up the time between the longer, further away ones.

I thought you had been to Capre Cod before, Rosie! I seem to get mixed up with all the trips you take.
Universal is fun, lots of roller coasters and fast, intense rides.
