I think as long as it is not "fresh" ie fruit, veggie, meat or bread you are good.

I salt and bake store bought pumpkin seeds and really want to bring them on the cruise. (They are super yummy and a good source of protein.) But if I prepare them and bring them, obviously they won't be store sealed anymore. Do they allow that?

Oh, and where can I find information about beverages on board? Obviously liquor is going to cost extra money. But what about sodas and water and stuff?

There is a beverage station that has soda, tea, coffee, hot chocolate that you can get for free.

Bottled water, cans of soda (or from the bars) and liquor are all extra.

You can bring your own alcohol on board in your carry on luggage.

Also, would sealed honey be acceptable (sealed from factory) as check in?

I do not know But I double checked the FAQ section on the website and it is correct, you are not allowed to bring homemade goods onboard.
Perhaps it has something to do with customs or health concerns

On the Magic/Wonder there is one "area" that has a few beverage stations...but they are all in the same area (not scattered around the ship). The beverage area is located outside of Topsiders/BBB (pool deck).

On the Dream/Fantasy there is a beverage station on the port and starboard side of the pool deck.

You can get coffee, soft drinks, water, tea, milk 24/7.

What about a small sealed plastic container of Vanilla agave nectar? I use it as a replacement for sugar in my coffee would that be allowed? If so would that be something I pack in my carry on?

Just guessing here, but it is probably the same reason you can't send homemade goods to school in many places anymore, only storebought.

Items must be pre-packaged, unopened and cannot require any food prep from the kitchen. Homemade items or pre-cooked items purchased on the way to the ship will not be allowed to be brought aboard. Also, open bags or containers of snack items should not be brought aboard.

I think some of the reasoning may also be due to the fact that you are travelling to other countries? Again, not certain of the reasoning there. To be safe I would assume that anything not in a sealed, unopened container is not going to fly. I imagine the worst that would happen is that they would have you toss it if they object to an item. I would bring anything questionable on the carry on to be sure it doesn't get opened and ruin your clothing/luggage. And if in doubt you can always try calling DCL! Just remember that the folks who answer the phone don't actually work at embarkation, so you might get two different answers.

I'm sure I could find a way around it without much trouble, but I generally assume there are reasons behind rules and try to respect that.

So I suppose I'll survive without my pumpkin seeds.

you could always call DCL and ask about them, they sound supper yummy.

I feel nearly certain they are not sniffing the contents of the 3-1-1 bag of liquids to make sure none are sweetener instead of shampoo. That said, I don't remember if you have to certify you have no food.
