Hi all:) Thought I'd start a thread for our cruise. This will be our first W Caribbean . So, of course I'm excited to see some new ports. Lots of new planning also because we will be sailing out of Miami instead of PC. So we can all share info on getting around this new DCL port.

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

Anyone else on this sailing yet? We haven't booked, but we are considering this one for after the Princess Half Marathon.

Hi there. :wave2:

There probably are alot of other people , just not on here so far. Maybe they'll do Kids sail free:) That would be nice

Well ,we switched our verandah room to 2 connecting Secret Porthole rooms. 5 of us in one room(4 of which are girls) with one bathroom just seems insane:). We had the connecting SPH rooms on our first cruise in 2010and really liked them . Plus I like having 2 bathrooms with 4 girls....1 is NOT enough.Geez....is there anyone else going?:confused3

I booked this cruise yesterday as my "dummy" cruise. The price was great :thumbsup2

I'll have to see if I can come up with the $$ before December, if not will probably move it back to the fall. I wish the itineraries were out for 2014.

I'm buying disney gift cards from kroger and using them to pay off the cruise. That way I get the fuel perks, I just filled up for 1.71@gallon. I'll be getting cheap gas till the cruise is paid off:cool1:

I glanced at the promo when I was at Kroger. What are the details? cents of for every card purchased or per dollar amount purchased? Are the discounts stackable?

Thank you!! :goodvibes

I'mpretty sure it's points per dollar spent. The points can be used for a month . I bought them on the 28th and my receipt said I had till the 30th.Next time I buy more I'll be sure to go with a near empty tank.

That's good thinking :thumbsup2 I've never noticed Disney cards at my Kroger though, I'll have to look more closely :confused3

Wow... VERY Small DIS group for this sailing!!! Looks like we will be joining you on this cruise My family consists of me, Roxanne; my husband Mike and our 2 girls who will be 8 and 12 when we sail. We are new transplants to the Calgary, AB area- we are originally from way up in Northern Alberta. This will be the second leg of a B2B for our family. We have been on 2 cruises before, both on the Wonder out of LA. Loved the ship and the crew so much!! We did FE's both times, and organized the FE group for our last cruise, but this time we will opt out. Since we are on B2B cruises with 9 days total.... I can't imagine taking all the stuff in our luggage and trying to fit in clothes too!! (I generally refuse to do laundry on vacation so you can see my dilemma!!).
For those of you who are new to cruising or the Wonder- be rest assured- the ship is beautiful. Many of the crew have come to be dear friends who I can't wait to see again!!

Hello All! My family is booked on this cruise. It is our first Disney Cruise. I was reading something about Fish Extenders and was wondering what do I need to do. My daughter will be celebrating her 7th Birthday on the cruise so I want to make it as fun as possible. Can anyone give me a brief description on them and how they work?

Also, I have 2 year old twins. They will be 2 yrs 5 months when we cruise. I can't see where they are able to participate in the activities. Is this true?

Lastly, Is there any recommendations for a first time cruiser? Things I should bring, can't miss activities etc.

Thanks in advance. We are all excited and happy Disney Cruises have come to Miami. We are seasonal passholders and visit Disney World 4 times a year.

If you are looking for FE info, check the DCL info sticky on the main cruise page. Good info and ideas. We have done FE's for our last 2 cruises and enjoyed them, but are not doing them this time around. The best way to describe them would be secret santa meets Mickey Mouse! Be sure to let your FE group know about the birthday. Folks usually do something a bit special for birthdays in a FE exchange.
Things I would bring? Sunscreen, camera, water bottle and a swimsuit. If you forgot everything else, you'd still have a great time!!

Your smaller twins can go to the open programming time in the kids clubs, but only the nursery if 'mom and dad alone time' is needed. They and you will still have a blast- there is SO much to do!!

We have fallen completely in love with DCL and now have chosen to substitute our regular yearly DL visit with the cruise. I can't wait!!!

Hi, just booked this cruise. My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary!

I've just booked this cruise (again!). I booked this cruise when dates were originally released (along with the 2/21 cruise, was planning a B2B). Ended up cancelling both and booked a Carnival cruise (was looking for inexpensive Feb. trip as we decided to go to Hawaii in June). Well, DCL released some GREAT military rates for this sailing so, I booked it (again) and cancelled Carnival)!

Will just be me and DS(13) on this trip. DD is staying home during school vacation week to do some snowboarding, DH is staying with her.

Very excited about this cruise - will miss CC but love Cozumel!

My group has grown - my mother, my grandmother, and cousin have decided to join us. So my DD(15) who was planning to stay home, has also decided to come. We are now a group of 6, with 3-4 more considering booking!
