We are traveling in May. Just got a great Alamo rate. What vehicles have been on the full size and premium aisles?
Thanks

Just got back, fee odds and ends, we got a hotwire for Premium a Buick Lucerne or Taurus. There ended up Full size were Altima, and Premium were Maxima's. I had been counting on a MUCH larger size trunk. We ended up aruging that the paperwork sated the Lucerne or Taurus, as the Lucerne was not available and they did not have Taurus, .......we noticed a Murano parked in that section and they reluctinly said okay to that....More then just they thought we should take the Maxima even though we were not shown that option on the ressie...
So we just lucked out.

I did not see much more of the full size then the Altimas.

Hotwire should not be making guarantees of any brand of car and they don't. From Hotwire for a Premium car "Ford Crown Victoria, Buick Lucerne, or similar** " Similar in this case is a Maxima. We do NOT guarantee any brand of car. All our cars listed are always listed as ie: Impala or similar, Fusion or similar, etc. We do not list the brand of cars in each class. We do try to accomdate our customers, but, we also expect that our customers take the time to read the web site under "cars" to know what to expect and what size will accomodate them. The Murano was probably parked where it belonged and looked as though it was in the Premium section, we usually put up orange cones to mark where one class ends and another begins.

Well, similar should mean the same passenger and suitcase configuration. We configured all we wanted and the bags were not going into the Maxima as stated. They did in the Lucerne but it was being serviced from a return. The Murano was not parked in another section, it was right next to the Maxima they tried to fit the bags in. 2 lg 2 sm...we reserved for 3 lg and 2 sm. My walker folded for the front.

Worked for us. But Maxima trunck, not near the Impala which we could have used too,but that was a downgrade. We did not book the Impala after upgrading to the Primium last trip for the extra space.

We had Alamo full-size March 3. A few Impalas, lots of Malibu's, one Mitsubishi sedan but don't know the name, one or two Altima's, and a few small SUV's.

I have a few questions about Alamo in Tampa (airport).

Do they have a "standard" aisle? Or is it bunched together with the full size as in Orlando???

What kind of cars might I find on the Premium Aisle?

I have a Standard car and a Premium car reserved both for the same rate... At the 2 week mark of my trip I will cancel one and only have one car reserved. I'm having a really hard time deciding which rental to keep.

Thanks for anyones help!

Yes, it is not unusual to see a Murano or similar parked next to the Premiums, that is how the garage is configured.
cars are configured for pax and capacity. The problem is what one's person idea of a large and small suitcase varies. 14.2 cubic feet is the trunk size.
We do not rent for bag size. Our premiums are listed as holding 4 pieces of luggage. Luxury 5 pieces of luggage. Had you looked at the Alamo site, you would not have had to endure all that aggrevation.

The Mitsubishi was probably the Galant.
