I hear ya! I have 110 days to go. But who's counting?

Well, we're down to 26 days and I seriously can't wait!!! The only problem on the horizon is that it might end up that my wife won't be able to go with us as she's caught up in labour negotiations and depending on what happens she might have to stay back!! That would really be terrible not just for her but the whole family but with everything all paid out we couldn't cancel.

Ironically the exact same thing happened years ago when my parents were going to take my brother. I wasn't planning on going with them - I was in college and "too cool" for Disney (I thought). My dad had to cancel last minute but I was able to go in his place since we have the same name and I ended up having a great time but it was years before my dad got to finally experience Epcot for himself which he had been sorry to miss out on.

Anyhow, we won't know about my wife until about 4-5 days before we're scheduled to leave. I'll be sitting on pins and needles until then that's for sure!

We had a very similar situation last fall. My DH didn't know if he could go until very close to the trip - an we were celebrating our 10th anniverary!
I totally sympathize HalloweenNut. I know first hand how stressful this is. I hope everything works out and your whole family gets to enjoy your vacation together!

OMG I'm exactly 3 weeks after you because I am 131 days out! 10 days after you get back I'll be on my way!

Scared to even check in and say hi... don't want to change this trip anymore...after more changes than even the CRO can count. Oddly enough my original trip was early May at the Poly.....lots of date and resort changes later....end of May....Pop/Poly split...3 nights Pop, 1 week Poly GV. Due to budgeting...I dropped CL. But it's all good Booked a cabana for DD 6th birthday on Memorial Day....stop by and say hi if you're there. I'll have Island Sunset (double fisted) DH with a Lapu Lapu....and 5 crazy water loving kiddos

We booked so early that it seems like our trip will never be here! At least there is only 41 more days until I can make our ADR's

Halloweenut, I hope everything works out so your whole family can be together in WDW.

My DD15 keeps saying she would rather stay home than go, such blasphemy! She needs to get in the Disney spirit. I want this to be a family vacation. After this trip, if she still wants out of future trips I will give her a pass.

We recently switched from BC to Poly and are sooooo excited! Now into the teens until we arrive.....cannot wait!!!!

Thank you very much!! They brighten my day every day! We even loaded some as our screensaver on apple tv! really I posted that last one because it was slow on here and I love to hear what is going on at the poly!

I noticed you have a DD15 and you said she would rather stay home. get her on dis, let her read my DD17 Pre-trip and trip reports. Maybe let her take a friend with her. Disney is something all my teens look forward to. I offer them the opportunity to get involved in the planning. Show them videos on YouTube and offer them their freedom to go to a park on their own. (with cell check-ins every hour or so) if this is her first trip she may think its all about the dumbo ride and knows nothing about the pool, the resort, the massive droves of other teens, and all the French fries!! NO ONE IS TOO OLD OR TOO COOL FOR DISNEY! My teens become full fledge 9 year olds the minute our driver shows up at the door for our trip to the airport!

crostofer Dunno if I will be able to drag DH away from the Poly... but I will totally save the spork for ya (I'll leave it under the cushion in the cabana chair ) I really hope your DH can make your trip

In 56 days I'll be in the car driving down to WDW...57 days checking into Pop for three nights....then over to the Poly

Just gearing up for trip.....have really enjoyed following everyone's conversations here - it's nice how you all seem like "family"...

It's been years since we stayed at the Poly - can't wait to get back - this trip is just us two - looking forward to relaxation and trying some (or all) of the drinks at the pool bar

Keep the pics coming and I'll keep dreaming......I tried to look back and see who else is going to be at the Poly the first week of May - I'd love to share a toast with other poly peeps

Can someone re-post the recipe for the evening punch in the CL lounge? I clicked the link on page 1, but I can't read the font, it's too small.

My daughter and I did a little happy dance last night. This will be our third Poly stay since Sept 2010, but our first stay CL. We're ridiculously excited.

There will, however, be no more tanning bed tanning before our trips for me. I had three spots taken and biopsied yesterday, with more biopsies to come later next month. :-( I abused my skin too much when I was younger. If I want to spin this positively, however, I guess I can use the need for shade as a fantastic excuse to rent a cabana! LOL How's that for lemons into lemonade!
