"Norway? More like No Way!" Goobers' Jan 12 TR! Up.x2 4/6: FINAL THOUGHTS!

Chapter Thirty-Three: "OMG WHAT ARE THOSE DUCKS DOING?!"
Day 8: January 25th, 2012

After getting lots of rest, we woke up at 7:45 and ate breakfast in the room before heading out. We strolled by the quiet pool like we always do, on our way to grab some coffee at the Marketplace. We saw some pool ducks just enjoying the pool

e284f5c8.jpg

539439fa.jpg

Welp, evidently they were joining it a bit TOO MUCH, because out of nowhere Matt and I witnessed these two ducks um... getting it on in the pool! We looked at the ducks, looked at each other with a complete look of shock, and then BURST OUT LAUGHING.

I mean, WHAT WAS GOING ON HERE?! These ducks! Well, I won't write about what exactly we called THESE ones but, yeah. I just wanted to forget that we'd seen that so we kind of ran away from the pool at that point.

Matt decided to finally wear his awesome Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers t-shirt he'd bought...

025c138d.jpg

And I wore my awesome Expedition Everest t-shirt I'd bought during our honeymoon..

44010ea1.jpg

We hopped on the bus, and proceeded to be seated next to an icky man who would. not. stop. COUGHING!

dc1dd31e.jpg

The whole bus ride, that man behind Matt would not stop making really gross noises. Matt kept looking at me and making a face like, "OMG SERIOUSLY?" Soooo of course, I totally took a photo of the guy because that's what I do.

If you are doing something gross on public transportation (cutting your fingernails, coughing/sneezing without covering your nose/mouth, to name a few), I will be grossed out and maybe even snap your photo. I'm ridiculous, I know.

Anyway, we finally got to our glorious location for the morning...

8d47924c.jpg

YAY! ANIMAL KINGDOM!

It was pretty dead, as I think we arrived just at the end of EMH... which was actually nice because we got to move past all of the non-resort people waiting for 9 o'clock to roll around..

d4ae4e19.jpg

Of course our first stop was Expedition Everest, of course!

00a1f466.jpg

Today we had one goal in mind.. Break our EE record! During our honeymoon we rode EE 10 times, which was great, but we were determined to break that record this trip! At this point we'd ridden it 7 times, so we needed to get at least 4 more rides on it before the end of our trip!

We grabbed FPs, which had a 9:40 return time, then decided to go on and hopped into line..

ff29faea.jpg

We then proceeded to ride it 3 times in a row in a half hour (Ohhhh this is why I love January so much!).. Of course, it involved a picture or two, as we experienced our first time riding in the back row!

de59fee6.jpg

01a29691.jpg

f00b84a5.jpg

The back row is kind of fun and exciting! Mainly because when you go backwards, you're the first to feel it and in my opinion, I think it's a little more intense! But only when going backwards... Front is definitely still my favorite!

Anyway, after 3 intense rides in a row, Matt was needing a break, and I couldn't argue that because even I was feeling a little woozy, so we waved to EE and headed over to Kilimanjaro Safari!

792fa819.jpg

Though it said it was a 10 minute wait, the line looked way longer than a 10 minute wait, so we grabbed FPs. As we walked towards the front again, we watched the wait time change, and I fully expected it to say 20 minutes... but it said 10 again! The CM standing nearby noticed us and a few others debating the wait time and said, "If it says 10 now, it's 10!" So we decided to hop in the standby line, and sure enough, it moved way faster than we thought it would...

I took photos on my nice camera, but I haven't uploaded them yet... But honestly? I think you guys have seen PLENTY of safari photos so I'll spare you my up close and personal shots of the giraffe and hippos.

68cecd3b.jpg

We enjoyed our safari, and then as we left the gate, we stood around and looked for a couple who were thinking about going on. At this point, the wait time had jumped up to 20 minutes, and didn't look like it was going to get any better. FINALLY, after looking around, we watched a younger couple walk up and look at the time, and look at each other to figure out if they wanted to go on it.

I went up and asked, "Hey, are you guys going on Kilimanjaro Safari?" to which they replied they were. So I asked them if they wanted two FPs (that were good at this point), explaining that we'd just gone on it...

And they were SO excited and told us that would be awesome. Can I just say about fun it is to spread a little pixie dust on other people? I mean, we'd been getting it left and right on this trip, so it just seemed right to spread some ourselves!

Anyway, we were both getting a little hungry since our breakfast was really small, so we headed over to get some coffee and croissants at the Kusafiri coffee shop and bakery..

a6f03fac.jpg

e4b6f2ff.jpg

We both got plain croissants and I think some sort of flavored "latte". I put the latte in quotes because let's be honest, Disney World does not have actual lattes. Instead, it's more like a umm.. OH! If you've ever had the bottled Starbucks Frappuccinos, THAT'S what they serve. But I didn't mind, I was just hungry and thirsty for something that remotely resembled coffee, so we were happy campers.

We found a place to eat in the shade, and I caught this photo of Matt which I really liked and he didn't know I was taking..

454d8171.jpg

Anyway, we headed back to use our EE FPs from earlier for our record-breaking 11th ride! YES, WE DID IT! Buuuut of course this wouldn't be our last time on EE, no, not yet, there were too many days left on our trip to say goodbye to EE forever!

Matt really wanted to show me something neat over near Camp Minnie Mickey. Apparently AK has planned on doing a Mythical Creatures land (Matt knows EVERYTHING about attractions that never happened but were supposed to, and also loves Walt Dated World), and you can find certain areas of the park that prove this was once in the plans. For example, on the walk into the park, if you look closely at the sign with all of the animals at the entrance of AK, you will see a dragon in there. Matt then showed me this, a really good waterfall that is coming out of a dragon's mouth..

1ffd65e7.jpg

So yeah, it's kind of weird to see the remnants of things they you can tell they planned on doing but never did. It's like how in Epcot you can tell in certain pavilions (namely Germany and Japan) that they definitely planned on having big attractions there but they never panned out.. Or how certain countries were going to have pavilions but never did (Israel anybody? Matt even remembers seeing signs AT Disney World saying they were planning on opening an Israel pavailion).. Anyway, I find this stuff fascinating, so we thought it was kind of neat to find the dragon over near Camp Minnie Mickey.
On our way out, we waved to some Monkey Ducks who were hanging out with their monkey friends.

e3a9d6c6.jpg

We headed to the bus stop for our next destination!!

bd3a60ae.jpg

And of course, you'll have to wait to find out just where we were headed!

First of all, thanks for linking me with the Gallery of Light website! Very nice of you. :goodvibes And they're all beautiful! Do you even KNOW how badly I would LOVE the Kiss the Girl one? MY GOSH.

OH THOSE DUCKS! THOSE DUCKS! Don't they know where they are?

Oh my gosh, can I just say that that picture before (or after?) you went on the safari, with the little girl and the mist and what not? That's a CRAZY AWESOME photo! Oh my goodness I don't even know. VERY NICE.

Aw, how sweet to spread the pixie dust! AND hooray for breaking the Everest record! :cheer2:

YES! I totally know all about the dragon stuff! It was gonna be called like... Beastly Kingdom and it would be a good side against a bad side or something? I have to say I think it would have been awesome! Way better than this whatever Avatar mess. (But that's just my opinion, what can I say.)

Hmmm... my guess is... Hollywood? It doesn't seem like you've been there in a while. :confused3

I *think* the Israel pavilion was supposed to be part of the millennium celebration maybe? but it was too controversial. :( There's also a rumor about a Disney park opening IN Israel, but it's not going to be run by Disney or something? I think in that case I won't be going. Or maybe I would just to say I went to Disney in Israel... (we go to Israel sometimes, were last there last April).

First of all, congratulations on breaking your EE record:cheer2:!

Secondly, OH MY! Such scandalous ducks! Don't they know that this is a kid-friendly resort!?! What do they think they are, rabbits??

What's going on in that last photo? Is he pouting or concentrating?

I had noooooooo idea that Disney had planned on doing a Mythical Creatures Land. That's soo odd. But I have noticed the dragon on the Animal Kingdom sign before and thought it was a little strange. :confused3

First of all I have to say I found your TR today and I've read it all and love it! Im a huge LOST fan as well(except for the last season) and loved some of your references to it. I cant wait to read more about your awesome trip. I am Disney obsessed and Ive converted my husband as well. I wish we could of taken a trip their alone before our daughter. Our last trip we had a night out alone at Epcot and it was amazing. Our daughter is what makes it worth while to me now though. Seeing it through her eyes melts my heart!

First of all, thanks for linking me with the Gallery of Light website! Very nice of you. :goodvibes And they're all beautiful! Do you even KNOW how badly I would LOVE the Kiss the Girl one? MY GOSH.

No problem! It's fun to look at all the different ones they have. :goodvibes

OH THOSE DUCKS! THOSE DUCKS! Don't they know where they are?

I know, it was just so inappropriate for Disney World. Fortunately there were no little kids around to ask their parents what those ducks were doing. :rotfl:

Oh my gosh, can I just say that that picture before (or after?) you went on the safari, with the little girl and the mist and what not? That's a CRAZY AWESOME photo! Oh my goodness I don't even know. VERY NICE.

Haha, thanks! Now that I look at it, it's pretty neat! I love how they have the mist on your walk out! I caught that on my iPhone. I love when you get those photos and least expect it. :goodvibes

Aw, how sweet to spread the pixie dust! AND hooray for breaking the Everest record! :cheer2:

It's kind of like how I LOVE giving people an awesome Christmas present that they didn't expect. I get more excited about giving it then receiving them! I mean don't get me wrong, extra FPs are awesome but giving them is really wonderful, too!

YES! I totally know all about the dragon stuff! It was gonna be called like... Beastly Kingdom and it would be a good side against a bad side or something? I have to say I think it would have been awesome! Way better than this whatever Avatar mess. (But that's just my opinion, what can I say.)

I really wish they'd done that, it would've been SO cool! I am not a fan of this Avatar deal. I mean I thought the movie was okay, but basically a ripoff of Pocahontas and Dancing with the Wolves. :confused3

Hmmm... my guess is... Hollywood? It doesn't seem like you've been there in a while. :confused3

Ooooh you've been paying attention for sure! We might be on our way there. :thumbsup2

Yeah, I don't remember! That's kind of crazy about the rumor of a Disney park in Israel! But I'm not sure how I'd feel about it not being run by Disney. Just wouldn't seem 100% authentic, ya know? But it might be kind of fun to check it out if you're there!!

First of all, congratulations on breaking your EE record:cheer2:!

THANKS! It was quite a feat.

Secondly, OH MY! Such scandalous ducks! Don't they know that this is a kid-friendly resort!?! What do they think they are, rabbits??

I could not believe it. Like I'm sure the look of horror/shock on both of our faces was hysterical. We just couldn't help but laugh as we ran away.

What's going on in that last photo? Is he pouting or concentrating?

Haha he's concentrating on something on his iPhone while we waited at the bus stop, of course. Probably looking at twitter or Facebook. ;)

I had noooooooo idea that Disney had planned on doing a Mythical Creatures Land. That's soo odd. But I have noticed the dragon on the Animal Kingdom sign before and thought it was a little strange. :confused3

Yeah, it's really neat to hear about, but also kind of sad that they never followed through with it. Now you know why the dragon is on that sign.

Oh yay I'm so glad you found me! LOST fans should unite together! I can't wait til I get to one of my other favorite parts of our trip that involves LOST!!

Yeah, Matt and I are trying to cram in as many trips to Disney before we have kids. I mean of course we'll continue to go but it's a very different experience with kids... Even then, it's something I am beyond excited to experience, seeing Disney through a child's eyes. :goodvibes

I have to go back and get a better look at those ducks, I think I must have missed something!!

Lol, those ducks. I must not skim when reading, you miss too much!
Can I ask you something about rides? Matt doesn't like the front row of splash mountain so does he get kind of nervous on all rides with drops? I do. I can't enjoy splash mountain because I am waiting for the drop- I still do it because I don't want to be too much of a wimp. I would not go on RnR but do you think everest might be doable for me? I wouldn't go on it last Feb when we were there and now I am sorry. My husband says I could do it but he loves all rides so..

I agree! They're different! The problem is that you can't resize them, and since Matt has lost a lot of weight, he's on his second wedding ring, but we need to get him ANOTHER one.
Yeah, that could get to be a expensive! :laughing I'll tell Andy he has to stay his current weight for awhile.
Yessss we do run into each other tomorrow! Good memory
Yay!

Peoplemover and Splash. :lovestruc Matt just doesn't have good luck when it comes to avoiding the front. :rotfl:

Matt looks exhausted, and the Pooh & Dug picture is just about the cutest thing ever. Glad the pool was there to save you guys. :)

Dinner at Mexico sounds good right about now... I have always wondered why they call it The American Adventure too! Very patriotic.

Love your SE pics and yes we were texting as I was walking out of Epcot. I felt so bad that night. :(

Sounds like you two had a wonderful night though! :goodvibes

Pool ducks! Woot! :woohoo: Guess that pool is really romantic to them.
Both of your shirts are epic. I actually bought a season of Rescue Rangers for Riley at Costco the other day. :)

That sounded like a nasty bus ride. I'm so glad you took a picture because I probably would have too!

Animal Kingdom is so pretty in the morning. That's a cute idea to try to break your EE record!

We rode KS this day too and we waited way, way longer than the posted time. Glad you shared some pixie dust.

I said the same thing about the iced coffees down there! Very similar to the bottled Frappuccinos.

Matt's my Disney twin, I swear! :rotfl: I have way to much WDW knowledge like that in my head.

I know where you're headed. ;)

I have to go back and get a better look at those ducks, I think I must have missed something!!

Haha not really, they weren't doing a whole lot IN the photos. I would've felt like a creepy person if I took photos of them in um.. their uhh.. situation. :rotfl:

Lol, those ducks. I must not skim when reading, you miss too much!

Haha they were really out of control!

Matt doesn't LOVE rides with drops. Which is why on Expedition Everest his least favorite part is the huge drop, but he's gotten used to it. He also doesn't like going backwards, as it can be kind of disorienting on it. Otherwise he enjoys it! RnR actually is way less about the drops, it's more of just a really fast ride with a couple of times you go upside down. It's so smooth and fast you don't even realize you're upside down! I'd give EE a shot, but just be warned that the going backwards part is a little scary, as is the big drop. But I'd say it's less of a big drop than Splash is for sure!

Yeah, that could get to be a expensive! :laughing I'll tell Andy he has to stay his current weight for awhile.
Yay!

Haha yeah, it's a pain when you have to keep on buying new rings! The good thing is I made a necklace with Matt's original wedding ring so he wears that all the time, since it's obviously special to use. :goodvibes

Peoplemover and Splash. :lovestruc Matt just doesn't have good luck when it comes to avoiding the front. :rotfl:

Hahaha he really doesn't! But it was kind of hilarious because he just gave up at that point.

Matt looks exhausted, and the Pooh & Dug picture is just about the cutest thing ever. Glad the pool was there to save you guys. :)

He was so pooped; we both were! The pool was a lifesaver many times during our trip!

Dinner at Mexico sounds good right about now... I have always wondered why they call it The American Adventure too! Very patriotic.

Yup, it does! Though it's only 10 here, so maybe not, hahaha. And yeah, I just don't get it!

Love your SE pics and yes we were texting as I was walking out of Epcot. I felt so bad that night. :(

Ugh I know I felt so bad for you. Being sick in Disney is LAME!

Sounds like you two had a wonderful night though! :goodvibes

We did. It was a goodie. :)

Pool ducks! Woot! :woohoo: Guess that pool is really romantic to them.

Evidently. I just didn't even know what to do when we realized what was going on, hahaha.

Both of your shirts are epic. I actually bought a season of Rescue Rangers for Riley at Costco the other day. :)

Haha thanks, I thought we were looking snazzy! Matt almost bought all of those RR seasons from Costco. They're such a good price!

That sounded like a nasty bus ride. I'm so glad you took a picture because I probably would have too!

Haha I'm soooo the worst. I totally take people's photos of them doing terrible things on public transportation and post them on FB or twitter. :rotfl:

Animal Kingdom is so pretty in the morning. That's a cute idea to try to break your EE record!

I love AK in the morning! And yes, I was determined!!

We rode KS this day too and we waited way, way longer than the posted time. Glad you shared some pixie dust.

That's a bummer. The line looked huge when we went but it really was only 10 minutes... Though the lady who kept talking to me in front of me drove me nuts while we waited, hahaha. I like talking but this lady just irked me.

I said the same thing about the iced coffees down there! Very similar to the bottled Frappuccinos.

I know, right?! Glad you know what I mean!! They so taste the same.

Matt's my Disney twin, I swear! :rotfl: I have way to much WDW knowledge like that in my head.

Hahaha I know you guys seriously are so so alike, it cracks me up!

I know where you're headed. ;)

Yeeees you do! :goodvibes

Chapter Thirty-Four:"That cupcake is AMAHZING!" and "Oh my God why is that photo so horrible?!"
Day 8: January 25th, 2012

If you guessed we were heading to HS, yay you were right (marDgreen and Rachel, I'm looking at you guys!).. Unfortunately, it was really hot out aaaand the bus had no AC which made us a little sad.

We got to HS and it was pretty darn busy. Honestly, this park seemed to always be busy unless it was early morning or evening EMH. Otherwise, it felt like it was always swamped by tour groups.

We didn't really care too much though, because we really just wanted to grab some cupcakes and some lunch. So of course, our first stop was Starring Rolls for some tasty cupcakes!

Matt got the Butterfinger while I got the Red Velvet. We squished them into boxes (I really wish they'd get some boxes for the cupcakes like the ones at the Boardwalk Bakery, because they're so huge we had to put them on their sides in the to-go boxes they had)...

We put our cupcakes in my backpack and then decided to go get some lunch at Sunset Ranch Market. We both got chicken nuggets and fries for lunch, buuuut I didn't take a photo. Not sure why, but I think we just wanted to have some quiet time in the shade at this point so we enjoyed our lunch and people watched. I will say, Disney chicken nugs are my favorite! They're so good!

We actually didn't go on any attractions but did a bit of shopping. Matt came across this really amazing Jack Skellington hat. I thought he looked quite stylish, hahaha.

45c99ee3.jpg

We then shopped around and both decided to get a t-shirt for ourselves. Matt bought this amazing Duck Tales one, after I INSISTED he needed it... and I bought an AMAZING t-shirt that mixes Up and Cinderella Castle aaand balloons. Basically, it's awesome and you will see it quite soon!

We headed out of the park, when suddenly we ran into Rachel again with her family! YAY! I finally got to meet her daughter Riley who is the CUTEST little girl ever! She just loved her Lady (from Lady and the Tramp).. We also said hello to her parents and chatted with Rachel, which was wonderful!

Unfortunately, because we were both heading in different directions, we didn't have time to get a photo together AGAIN. LAME, I know!

After we said goodbye, Matt and I headed to catch a boat back to Beach Club..

e796c469.jpg

5fee7e63.jpg

I took a photo of our next destination as we walked along the dock...

f1b9e48f.jpg

YUP! We were up for a little Stormalong Bay action! It's hard to avoid such an awesome pool for more than a day or two!

We walked back to our room and decided to dig into our cupcakes!

This is what Matt's Butterfinger cupcake looked like, albeit a little squished..

8c42a362.jpg

I had gone with the Red Velvet..

7f9b220f.jpg

e0cbb561.jpg

OH EM GEE! This cupcake was absolutely out of this world. It's got a cream cheese frosting with HEATH BAR on it. Talk about unreal. I was totally in love with it and this surpassed my other cupcake (sorry S'more cupcake). Matt enjoyed his Butterfinger cupcake as well!

1157e956.jpg

After we ate our cupcakes, we got changed and headed down for Stormalong Bay! This was so relaxing. We set up by the lazy river side (since the construction walls were still up), and enjoyed the sun..

796dac0c.jpg

7d59c298.jpg

I actually caught up on my trip journal during this time, which you guys get to see! It's my awesome "Adventure Journal" that came with our Up blu-ray when it first got released. I was so happy to be able to use it for such a good reason..

645c3ab4.jpg

027ab557.jpg

Anyway, we sat around the pool and I realized... I don't tan. My arms especially just turn into FRECKLES. Wah. It's sad I take after my Mom in that respect (she's Irish) and not my Dad, who is Italian.

748b9ce2.jpg

Totally sad, haha.

Chapter Thirty-Four:"That cupcake is AMAHZING!" and "Oh my God why is that photo so horrible?!" CONTINUED
Day 8: January 25th, 2012

Anyway, after going around the lazy river like five times, we headed back to our room to change for dinner at Cape May and also throw some laundry in. We figured we could let it run while we were at dinner, then switch it over to the dryer right after.

We headed down around 6:30, and it was pretty outside by the quiet pool...

665b6a25.jpg

Anyway, our ADR was for 6:50, but we showed up at 6:35... to a MASSIVE crowd of people. I was kind of surprised about this since our first dinner was not like this at all. They told us their computer was down but checked us in and said it'd be closer to our 6:50 reservation time. I figured no big deal, we would just hang out..

915c3084.jpg

We waited.. and waited.. and waited some more. Our reservation time came and went by. I started to get a little upset because I soon realized that there was no way our laundry could sit in the machine for that long, so I went to see what the situation was and another family had been waiting for like 45 minutes at this point. They told us that we'd be seated soon or something, but no real explanation or apology... I told Matt to just run back and switch the laundry over, and if they called us I'd just sit and wait for him.

While Matt was changing it, we were FINALLY called a half hour later than our reservation time, 45 minutes after we initially checked in. I was a bit miffed but tried to chill out... but the girl didn't even apologize! She just pretended everything was a-okay. I wasn't expecting any sort of reimbursement or anything, just an "Hey I'm sorry about the wait".. I sat down, not really that happy, but figured whatever, we were finally seated.

Matt showed up shortly after, and our waiter was AWFUL. He was the most unfriendliest person ever, insisted our reservation said we had 4 people, which it didn't... And when he went to check it was like, "Oh.. it's not for 4." He was just not nice at all and not very good.

This was a COMPLETELY different experience from our first time at Cape May. The food was still great but the way we were treated just left a bad taste in my mouth. It really just crapped on our night. I almost asked to speak to a manager on my way out, but decided it wasn't worth it, I just needed to cool off or I was probably going to make a scene in the middle of Disney World, and it just wasn't worth it.

At this point, we headed back to our room and considered canceling our Friday breakfast ADR for Cape May. We talked about it for awhile and decided we'd just keep it. It was an easy ADR to get to (we had some specific plans for this day, involving other people, which we'll get to later!) and our first experience had been so great, we thought they deserved another chance. Plus, I'm not gonna lie, I really wanted to see Donald and Goofy and Minnie, hahaha.

Anyway, after dinner, we headed back to put away our laundry and hung around for awhile in our room before heading over to the Boardwalk! We'd been dying to visit during the evening, and figured this was the perfect night to do it!

We strolled over and I spotted a photobooth. I LOVE photobooths and even though they're super overpriced, there's something about capturing a special moment right then and there that I just love. We took a photo and laughed SO HARD at how bad we looked!

05e26a45.jpg

We decided Matt looked like a 50 year old man and I lost my neck in the process. Regardless, we still thought it was cute because it brings back good memories. :)

After taking our photo, we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful evening..

cb73fc59.jpg

cd88e8e9.jpg

We popped into the little shop there, but it was just the normal Disney merchandise...

95739e4a.jpg

Suddenly we heard Illuminations begin, so we stopped and watch the high fireworks for a bit. It was a great spot to enjoy them!

d934c396.jpg

c027d8cc.jpg

Okay, Matt had been talking about he REALLY wanted nachos with nacho cheese really really bad. I told him that I was pretty sure they had them at the Boardwalk, so he was really excited when we stopped by the little stand and they had them. He never eats that kind of stuff at home, and I think the only time growing up he was allowed to have that kind of stuff was in Disney. So we stopped and got him his nachos with cheese and he was very happy, haha.

I'd had my eye on some cinnamon roasted pecans for a long time, so I finally decided to get some..

fcc6f58c.jpg

91dfdfab.jpg

Oh my GOSH guys... These are TO DIE FOR. And you get SO many! I highly highly suggest this for a snack credit. They're super super good. Not too hard to bite into or anything. And just.. ugh so good. And they're nice and warm, too!

We sat around the Boardwalk for a bit longer, enjoying the night. It was so relaxing and nice to just stroll around... I love those kinds of nights!

We headed back, and watched a Friendship boat go under the bridge..

0d17f6e7.jpg

We ended the night with some hot chocolate and relaxing a bit before bed. Definitely a more laidback afternoon/evening, which was exactly just what we needed!

Tomorrow... We spend some time at one park for the final time (holy sadface, I don't want this trip or TR to end!), where another one of my favorite moments of the trip occurs... With lots of other fun experiences in between. :)

Another fun update!
RED VELVET CUPCAKE! I love red velvet...red velvet cake, red velvet cookies, red velvet brownies, tie-dye cheesecake with scrumptious red velvet crust...maybe it's a southern thing:confused3 doesn't matter because add that cupcake to the list of my must haves next trip!
I feel for you on the tanning dilemma. I'm Italian and tan easily. My sweet baby girl is red-headed and as fair skinned as Snow White, just like her Daddy! She loves swimming but she hates sunscreen. Oh joy!
Sorry about your bad experience at Cape May. So frustrating when you are really looking forward to something and it completely disappoints. Sometimes I feel like reminding some cast members that they do work in the HAPPIEST place on earth! Glad it didn't ruin your night though:goodvibes

Cinnamon Roasted Pecans! Those are my favorite! I had them about 4 or 5 times last trip.....soooo good!

Sorry for your bad dining experience :(
an apology makes such a difference, it is strange they played it off like nothing was wrong... :confused3
I hope breakfast was better......and you got to see your favorite characters...I guess I'll have to wait to find out! lol

Thanks for the ride advice. It'll probably be 3 years before we get back so either plenty of time to work myself up to the challenge or totally psyche myself out. I've had the cupcake Matt had and totally loved it. Look forward to the next update- I don't want it to end either.

Haha yeah, it's a pain when you have to keep on buying new rings! The good thing is I made a necklace with Matt's original wedding ring so he wears that all the time, since it's obviously special to use.
That is an epic idea. So smart!
Haha thanks, I thought we were looking snazzy! Matt almost bought all of those RR seasons from Costco. They're such a good price!
I'm so tempted to go back and get some more, but we watched an episode yesterday and Riley just isn't old enough for it yet. She wasn't into catching bad guys. :( I can't wait til she's old enough to be interested though because I'm dying to watch them!
Haha I'm soooo the worst. I totally take people's photos of them doing terrible things on public transportation and post them on FB or twitter.
:rotfl: Your antics make me happy! We are so similar.
I know, right?! Glad you know what I mean!! They so taste the same.
Haha, of course I know what you mean! We aren't disBFFs for nothin'!

I am seriously anticipating your cupcake review! I love that you just said chicken nugs because my sister made fun of me (once again) for saying that down there!

That hat is perfect for him! :lmao: I've seen both those shirts already and I love them. So glad you both got them.

:) Thank you, I think Riley's the cutest too, but I'm biased. She still loves that Lady, in fact she slept with her last night! My parents loved meeting/seeing you guys after I had told them about you before the trip and then hanging out in MK. We need a time machine to go back and take insane pictures.

Those cupcakes look divine! I love heath bar, cheesecake and icing so the red velvet would be for me! Pool time looks relaxing. :cloud9: I love your trip journal too. I take forever to tan and my cheeks get so freckly. You saw how pale I am, haha!

I remember hearing about this dinner. Not up to Disney hospitality standards. :sad2: I would be expecting a "Sorry for the wait" too! What's the point of their ADR system? Normally it works much better than that. Your waiter sounds like a non-Dis friendly word.

I love photobooths too! They are so much fun, and I'm considering having one at our wedding if we go with a big reception. (Which we probably won't so the photobooth thing is just a fantasy, haha) The Boardwalk is so pretty, and I would love to watch Illuminations from there one day. Those nachos look like a perfect snack for that evening. Calories don't count in Disney, remember? Those pecans are SO good! So warm and delicious. :goodvibes

Tomorrow is our off day so I can't remember for the life of me what you guys did. My brain was in shopping/relaxing mode I guess. :confused3

Hoooooray for being right! Hahah but feel free to call me Marissa! It's not weird I swear.

I feel like if Hollywood Studios is even a little bit busy, it just feels swamped because it's so small. :(

I KNOW WHAT SHIRT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. Because I have it too! Can we say... UP inspired? ;)

Be still my heart... Stormalong Bay.

I can't wait to try a Starring Rolls cupcake! I've heard ONLY GREAT things about them. YUMMMM but I can't decide which one to get yet.

SPEAKING OF UP... that journal is amazing! That's awesome. And may I say that you have very pretty handwriting! It looks like a font almost.

Ughhh, sorry about your bad experience this time! It really bugs me when people aren't apologetic about things, or friendly. Because I personally try really hard TO BE nice and friendly (and apologetic if I did something wrong) and it's pretty much expected when you work in the food service industry. ON TOP OF that fact that you work at Disney! Ugh... whatever. Sorry about THAT paragraph...

Epcot resorts just look perfect. Why are they so perfect? Ugh IllumiNations is perfect too.

Woohoo! Yeah right? This TR is too close to being over! :sad2:
