Wow!

I did a search and nothing for the 3 day sailing of the Dream on the 4th of Oct.

Am I the only weary traveller embarking for a mini break?

If not I hope to hear from my fellow 'Dreamers' soon. :)

DH and I will be on this cruise too, I was beginning to think we were the only ones.

Hello:)

We haven't got a room assignment yet, when do they let you know? This is our first cruise, so I'm not sure about the procedure.

Hello:)

It depends on the type of booking you have. If it's a GTY then they'll assign it depending on what's available nearer the time.

Otherwise you should have the option to choose a room out of what's available in your category on the web site when you log into your reservation.

In a way having a GTY is good as it guarantees a minimum category but you can get bumped to a higher one if the category you booked gets sold out. :)

I have a stateroom number because I booked using DVC points (I know, I know it's a lousy use of points but my car's engine blew up and a needed to keep the money to get it re-built, and selling my points and using the cash at this late stage would have been a nightmare) but it may be that no cash purchasers have numbers at this point.

Oh, anyone know how I get this added to the list of cruises at the top? Maybe we'll get a bit more coverage then.

I can't believe it's just the two of us on this cruise. If it is it'll be pretty empty! :rotfl2:

I just looked and we do have a GTY room. Any idea how close to sailing before we get an assignment or will we not find out till we check in?

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list... :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

my husband and i are also on this cruise. we got cabin 9500. getting excited for the adventure.

I am so glad there is finally a "group" for this cruise!!:thumbsup2

We'll be a larger group (and seemingly the only ones with kids on this cruise!! ;)) of 6.. myself, my mother, two nieces (14 and 11), my daughter (4) and my husband. It will be a wind down from 6 nights at the World.

If I remember correctly, we are in 8578 and 8576 which are connecting verandah.

Hopefully we get a decent size group going. The kids were looking forward to doing FE's again!

Hi!

At this point I think that an FE would be a little underwhelming. :rotfl:

Hopefully we'll get a few more people here and be able to get one kicked off. :)

I'm sure that more people will show up eventually.

It's just going to be DH and I on this trip, we are hoping to book a day or two at the F&W, however it will have to wait to see if DH can get the time off of work. This will be our first Disney cruise, so I'm looking forward to the FE experience.

Are either of you planning any excursions in Nassau? I think we'll do Atlantis to say BTDT.

JennyW - Hopefully you can get an extra couple of days so you can hit up F&W!

Have a great weekend ladies! :goodvibes

We haven't decided on any of the excursions yet, none of the Nassau excursions really hold much appeal to me.

I've got my fingers crossed that we can fit the F&W into our schedule, it's one of my favorite things.

I'm glad to hear that! This is our 2nd WDW trip but our first to F&W. Can't wait!

Nassau might be a perfect day to stay on the ship. If the kids didn't really want to see Atlantis, I'd be chillin' by the pool with a beverage watching the kiddos on the Aquaduck. :thumbsup2

I'm confident that you will LOVE the F&W, it's so much fun. I try to always schedule our trips around it if at all possible.

No, we use the Nassau day as a good day to explore the ship without loads of people on it. :)
