Another awesome cruise! Hope everyone had a nice time. Really tried to get to a meet and greet but nothing worked out. We boarded the ship after 2 and my son was tired the first night so getting to the adult night didn't happen either. Really was hoping to meet everyone! I did book a 7 day for November 2, 2013. Anyone else book while on the ship?

Thank you so much for the Chip and Dale card. You should have seen my kid's face when he saw it in his FE pocket. We had to immediately put it in a card holder so it wouldn't bend it. He actually wanted to go to Magic Kingdom after we got off the ship to see it in action at the Sorceror game.

None of the meet times ended up working for us either. I was planning on the evening meet, I ended up not feeling too well. This was my first cruise and I believed what everyone told me about not being able to feel the boat move--not only did I feel the boat move, but the motion messed with my equilibrium....

I would like to thank everyone for our gifts. It was very cool watchen them get very excited when they received something. Last night my ds was so upset that our FE was gone and our door was not decorated anymore. It looks like we will be sailing again sometime in the future.

Thanks everyone for the FE gifts! Didn't make it to any meets, so sorry, was feeling really green the first night. DH and I had scheduled the whiskey tasting at Meridian and I sent him on without me. I had wine with dinner and took a dramamine too and couldn't keep my eyes open by 10pm! Felt fine by the next morning. Did a little shopping in Nassau making me miss the other meet too. We booked another cruise while inboard, the 7 night Alaskan cruise on the Wonder. DH said "if you do the FE again, you'll have to step it up--the bookmarks were cute but not as cool as the cross stitch, the post in note magnet, or little bottles of Smirnoff!" Ha! Will come up with something cooler. The London 2012 stuff was cool too, my son loved Wenlock and Mandeville (sp?). Thanks to all.

None of the meet times ended up working for us either. I was planning on the evening meet, I ended up not feeling too well. I made it to the first meet (Hi Jen, Stacey, Suzzie and Family, Eleanor and John - who I kept bumping into all over the ship and are the absolute sweetest couple!). That evening I completely forgot about the meet...what a doltz I am. As soon as we settled in for Match Your Mate in Evolution, I was like, "D'oh!" So sorry about that. We ended up getting off the ship in Nassau as planned, so the Friday meet did not work for us either, but I'm hoping others were able to take advantage of it.

Thank you to everyone for all the fun and wonderful gifts and goodies! Becky wanted me to send a thank you to everyone as well. Her first cruise (and first FE), and she was pleasantly surprised with every aspect of the weekend (and plans on telling her DH that she is booking a cruise as the next family vacay).

Hi All!

Not sure what happened with the meets but we pretty much seemed to keep missing each other! Stacey and I made it to the first one ok, but we turned up for the evening one and nobody was there (knowing me I was in the wrong place) and the meet on Nassau day we were watching Frankenweenie.

But it was still great fun and the gifts were great!

Hope you all had a great cruise and will be sailing the big ol' blue with DCL again soon.

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful FE gifts. The kids had a blast and loved coming to the room. All the other kids we were traveling with were very jealous of them getting goodies. It was fun to share the loot with them.

Which date did you pick? We booked the 7/8/2013 Alaska Wonder one but I'd like to go 7/15 so I can have it over my 40th birthday. We'll see what we end up doing. We had also booked a 7/20/2013 on the Fantasy on our last cruise so we definitely need to move one of those! I'm hoping the 2014 dates come out soon.

Thanks again to everyone for the FE gifts. I was unpacking today (DH up and left early this AM for work and left me with the kids and all the suitcases and dirty laundry!! Stinker!) and going through all the "loot" and just amazed at how neat all the FE gifts were. The kiddos got a real kick out of coming back to our stateroom and finding more goodies in the FE. Additional special thanks for the saltwater taffy, my fave! And Honeybear66, thank you for the charms, how cute. I love Inverness, visited there 7 years ago, a most lovely place. DH and I hope to retire to Scotland, as he fell in love with the country when he went to St. Andrews. Thanks Cindy for organizing it all. Piya, we booked 7/29/13. Looking forward to another great cruise.

We kept missing the meet-ups, too. We did meet John & Eleanor, though.

Sorry my mom didn't have an FE. I told her to order one, but she told be in the car on teh way to the ship that she hadn't made one or ordered one.

Just wanted to pop on and thank everyone for our amazing gifts we just got back from Old Key West this afternoon.

We had an absolutely amazing time although I had really bad vertigo throughout the cruise so didn't manage to make it to any of the meets. My DH and DD were really thriled when I revealed my big surprise about the cruise and even though I felt quite poorly it was wasn't anything to do with the ship and cant wait for our next cruise in July 2013 on the Magic.

My DD LOVED the F.E exchange and got really excited checking our fish extender every time we got back to our cabin so thanks again especially to iloverags2 for organising it.

Thank you. I've been posting this on any social media site I'm apart of. It's bad. Atlantic city reopened yesterday. Both my husband and I returned to work yesterday. The casinos had been shut down since last Sunday.
We fortunately are ok. Our home is good. Unfortunately friends and family are not in the same situation. Homes have been destroyed as well as businesses. Some people still haven't been let back into their town. A friend of mines father lives a bit north and is staying with her, he's been told it could be months before people are let back into town. A friend of mine had over 2 feet of water in her house. They had fish and crabs in there living room! Never have I seen anything like this. Devastating.
