We booked the cruise last night!! :cool1: I'm so excited! It will be

Me:Heather
DBF:Scott
DS:Conner (2)
DBS:Allen (11)

It will be their first cruise and my 3rd DCL cruise. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Just returned from a relaxing week+ in Cabo San Lucas and saw the Wonder three times while we were there. While waiting at the airport on the 25th we received notice that our TA had made our reservation, so we are in! We added the 4-night prior as a B2B, so we'll see y'all on board.

It does seem like a WBTA 2010 reunion!!

Okay IF this works this might be a better way to go. Since not everyone uses Facebook. By using google sites it can either me private or public. OR some pages in the website can be private (like personal info) and others public (front page).
Also what I find neat is I can add people or everyone (via email) to this so you guys can edit it and be "owners" as well. Best part is it's a way for everyone in the group to be able to edit and update info instead of one person having to do everything.

Now it's not updated at all LOL but this is what the layout will be like. Let me know your input.

This is what a previous cruise did and it would great. It was private and each person had the ability to edit/update info. This way when events were added a person could add themselves to the event.
We did still have a private FB page too since for some it is nice way to communicate and get to know each other.

Hi All,
I've created a Private FB page. If you'd like to be added, please submit a friend request on Facebook (I'm the only Alicea Novak on FB) with the note that you are going on the WBPC cruise, and I'll get you on the page.

Sorry I didn't set this up earlier today. I'm on the West Coast and have a 4 month old. He is getting his first cold and is not a happy camper right now. Poor little dude.

Great Idea! It worked well on some of our previous cruises.

Great Job, you two!

I'm not on facebook (I'm NOT a luddite, worked in IT for many years and consequently am a bit "security" focused with personal info:) )

Thanks for creating the google site; it looks great! Looks like we've got some talented and creative people going on this cruise!

Very nice! I can see that site getting a real workout in the next year and change.

Okay everything is updated. For now since there isn't anything really personal on the page (unless someone does not feel comfortable) I will leave it public. For those who want to help/be able to change things on the site please PM me your email and you will have full access to the website.

Sorry, I had a fat finger moment, our stateroom should have been 7630.

Thanks

Any other just adults couples going on this cruise? Did I also see a member of the Champagne girls, that could be fun!

WOW, playing catch up! We, Burt and Lynn, are an adult couple. Looking forward to meeting everyone. The site looks great!

That looks great. I love the "blah blah blah" part :rotfl:.

I sent you a friend request :thumbsup2
Could I get a copy of the Navigators? I'll post them on the FB page for reference.
PMing it now.

I am a bit new to all of this. I see the Google site and the private FB group....should we join both?

Also, I understand the concept of FE, but what are the details? From our last cruise, I thought that everyone gave a small gift to every other person each day. However, that's all of our staterooms times 2-4 people per room times 14 days! If someone could explain the details, I'd appreciate it.

I know we're over a year out so people may not be thinking of this yet but I didn't see any other volunteers. I'd be willing to keep the FE list. If nobody objects then maybe we can get something on the first page.

If you're still up to being the lead in charge of FEs let us know! We should probably figure out how we all want this to work out. Maybe a gift every few days? Or leave it up to how everyone feels?

The private FB I would join, the website will stay public for now. I'd only need you're info if you want to be added to help edit things on the website. Probably later to the date I'll make it private and people would need to send me e-mails to access the website.

We did 1 gift per stateroom along with a gift to each child on the EBTA last yr. More then this gets very time consuming and difficult to pack. Another option for people is secret Mickey exchange so only one gift for one person. We also had a candy exchange and recipe exchange that people could join. The ideas are endless.

I love the google page. Very nice! I am not on facebook either, but I won't go into those reasons :)

By the way, I guess I should introduce ourselves. I am Joy and my DH is Dave. We are on deck 6 at this moment, but not sure if I will keep our room number or not. This will be our first cruise with a verandah so I am having a hard time deciding which room, mainly because I am so excited. :cool1:

:wave2:

We're on this one too! Was thinking about adding either the 4 night prior to this or the repo to Vancouver after. Will wait to book those while we are onboard in March. Doing B2B MR cruises for spring break this year

On the last PC we were on we did one gift per cabin and then if there were children an age appropriate gift. We also did a Secret Mickey where you were teamed up with another couple or family and during the cruise you left them 3-4 surprises and then we all got together and it was revealed who are Secret Mickey was and at that time we gave them a little bigger gift. I think the total that was to be spent was between $25-30.
