Cruising Halloween on the FANTASY-10/27, 2012

Hi, My name is Suzie. We just got off the Wonder Mexican Riviera cruise. We had a blast! We are booked on the Fantasy for the Oct 27th Halloween cruise. We are going to book Disney World for the week before the cruise. Can't wait to go to the Mickey's Trick or Treat party again! We are traveling with a 6 year old and 3 year old. Do you they have a lot of fun activities on the Halloween cruises???

This will be our third Halloween cruise as both my husband and myself have birthdays in October. Our boys are older now and won't participate in the Halloween ;-(. But they loved it when we did the other two cruises. We packed their costumes and the Disney Magic had debuted Ratatuolle so we got a map that started at one end of the ship to the other with stops in between to get small candies. The other end of the ship went the other direction so it didn't get too crowded and we all ended up by the pool for face painting. I'm sure the Fantasy will be even better!

Hello everyone! My family and I just reserved a spot on this cruise, and we couldn't be more excited! It will be myself, DH, DS (9), and DD (6). We have only been on one cruise before, but had such a great time I see many more cruises in the future. We actually went on the Western Caribbean on the Magic in February 2011, and wanted to go on the Eastern this time, but the scheduling did not work out. It really doesn't matter though...anywhere in the Caribbean is fine by me!

We would love to participate in the FE exchange so definitely count us in for that! Also, if anyone has any kids close to the same age as mine who would like to email each other a little bit closer to the cruise date, they would really enjoy that. We did that the last time with a couple of families, and they really felt like they had a connection with them before we arrived. It made for some fun times at the pool and the kids clubs!

Can't wait to get to begin planning and chatting with you all, and of coarse can't wait until October!

Hello Everyone!! After months of planning for our 1st Deluxe stay on WDW property, I changed my mind and booked this cruise today!!
My DD and DS have never been on a cruise and at 1st were not happy with the idea. But they are coming around.
This of course will be our 1st Disney Cruise and I am so excited!!

Our family just booked this cruise and we are so excited. We are hoping our great friends will be joining us.

It is exciting to hear that they celebrate Halloween on the boat. We were not sure if they would just have a theme night that night.

Our first cruise was last summer to Alaska and the kids are so happy to be going someplace warm this time.

Coming along will be my husband Jeff, daughter Brenna (will be 10) and son Mac (will be 7).

We will certainly join in on FE!!! Count us in.

The Magic had trick-or-treat stations up and down all the decks. I bet the teen club will have a costume contest or something. Disney always makes things special! There will be a Pirates in the Caribbean deck party. Lots of people dress up for dinner, enjoy the deck party, watch the fireworks then enjoy the buffet. You could use the same costume for both events

The teen club on the Fantasy is so much different than on the Magic and Wonder. My soon to be 16 year old son is so stoked!

Have you heard of the Fish Extender exchange? That is a blast too. People are very clever with the little gifts they leave.

We also decorate our door with past cruises and all sorts of Disney stuff. You laminate pictures and use magnets (tape isn't allowed on the doors).

Also, try and eat at Palo's or Remi's! We've eaten at Palo's twice and LOVE IT! Would love to try Remi's as I've heard nothing but great things, but so pricey.....

I'll need to make some new magnets for the door since my last ones said the Magic and Wonder. Plus our last trip, we traveled with 4 other couples for a total of 12 at dinner! It was such a blast! This is our 1st Disney Cruise We have been on only one other cruise in the past not with Disney. The kids have never been on a cruise, 1st time for them.
Our other cruise was 10 years ago and we did Cozumel and other ports.
We have decided this time to maybe just get off the ship and walk around in
Cozumel right by the ship,
I would like to do something at Castaway Cay just not sure what yet.
How are the kids excursions on Castaway Cay?
My husband wants to just relax and not be on a schedule,
so I have told him I will not book us anything and we can just enjoy
the ship.
But knowing him, he will change his mind!!
I can relate to the obsession with these magnets.
