Do DVC MS CMs work from home?

I was working with a DVC MS CM a few Sundays back and I heard what sounded like little children playing in the background. I always assumed there was a call center but now I am wondering if some CMs work from home? I have no complaints - I am all for flexible work arrangements. I know other travel companies (Orbitz, for one) do this and it works out well. Maybe I just heard some giddy CMs in the background or maybe someone's kids were visiting the office - just curious really?

There are Telesales Guides that work from home.

Reports of MS CM's working from home have been reported, but I would think that it would only be available to senior people who need little support.

I have had several times were kids were in the background when I called MS.

I can only recall hearing the voices of other CM's in the background. The only children I've ever heard were mine who are always intent on talking to me when I'm on the phone!

This is what I thought, as well. You know, it is probably part of the new tiered point structure, but only for direct purchase members

Yes on weekends and especially holiday weekends sometimes the calls to Member Services are rerouted to at home Disney call center
agents.

Which is why you sometimes get someone that does not act like they know what they are doing.

Which is why I don't call on weekends and holidays and don't get upset with them because honestly they do not know.

Get mad at Disney for saving money or being cheap but the poor person on the end of the phone has no idea what the heck you are talking about unless it is on her computer screen.

I thought it was strange when we added Vero Beach that our paperwork was mailed from here in CO, and the return Fed-Ex was addressed to a CO address too.

Mine insisted on throwing a temper tantrum last time I called disney. Just 2 days ago, I had to go into the bathroom and shut the door just so I could hear what they were saying to me.

That makes sense, but I've never heard anything other than other CM voices when I've called.

A lot of call centers have work at home employees. Mine does, and they have access to the exact same information that those in the actual office building do. It allows us to hire more people since it frees up desks in the building. The company sets up the internet and all the computer systems we need. The only thing different is the phone setups, their phones go through different setup than the ones in the office do.

If I worked at home people would hear my cats whining all the time thinking that because I was home they should be fed non stop.

I don't know about MS, but Disney CRO does allow this - I have a friend who did from home for years.
