So.....did all DVC members get new member cards?

I posted the other day about getting the gray ones for our new resale contracts ...

Well today I got new gray ones for our original contracts purchased in 07. Just curious.

Only new cards we ver got were when our original light blue ones issued in 1993 were replaced with the current dark blue ones. Ours are getting hard to read, so a replacement wouldn't be a bad idea.

No cards here - but we get our Mickey monitor about a week later than everyone else, so I would imagine if they are sending them to everyone I won't get mine for a while.

We haven't received any new DVC Member cards. Did the new cards have the new DVC emblem on them? I can't see replacing cards for that reason though. You mentioned the first set you received was for a resent resale contract. Was your first contract a resale too? Maybe the gray cards are for resale contracts? That's just a guess as I don't see any reason to differentiate between membership cards as the DVC records show the type of contract anyway.

Well when I first got the gray ones I thought they were different because we did buy two resale contracts. Then I got another set with our other member number...those contracts were purchased in 07 through Disney.

No new cards here. I had trouble just getting a new one after I had lost mine a few years back.

Several of mine are so bad you can't see the name or number so would welcome new ones.

We don't have new cards yet, but now I might watch for them. We leave four weeks from today, so I hope they come in time for our trip in case we need to show them. I wonder if they will start to "phase out" old blue.

Funny thing....after we closed on our two recent resale contracts..I got two new BLUE cards in the mail. They had our first memership number on them. I called MS and told them our first membership number was on them, but needed our new membership number cards. Then we got the gray ones for the new contracts just purchased. So now I have two sets of the darker blue cards and a gray set for our first membership. THEN of course....the gray ones for the new contracts.

I have the dark blue ones from resale purchase in 2007. Question---mine says member since 2001--which I am guessing was the original purchase date from prior owner. Does anyone else who bought resale have an older date on theirs? Elaine
