DCL Chamilia Charm

Hi just returned from our DREAM cruise, I did purchase a DCL charm. I need one more and have been unable to find one for sale anywhere other than the cruise. be sure to get one while you are there, the sales person did say the sell out from time to time on board so be sure to visit the gift shop early during your cruise.

I did get one of these on our Dream cruise 8/25-8/28. I made sure I went to the shop on the 1st day. Love it!

Love the DL charm! I have the white with Swarovski crystals from the Disney Store, they called it Cinderella I think. My husband has bought me several charms, I think if my bangle gets full, I will split it up into Disney and non Disney. Then I may have to resplit that into DL. WDW, and DCL. Seems like a plan.

Do they have non-bead charms on the ships? The regular clip-on style?

I bought my fiancée a Tiffany charm bracelet for her wedding present, and I've promised her that we're going to fill it with charms from all the places we go. Some day, it'll be as big and gaudy as her husband.

I have the Mickey and Minnie (fused together with a hanging charm) that I bought on the Wonder in 2009. I definitely want the DCL cruise ship charm now!!

Can you find the DCL charms at wdw parks or resorts ?? or just onboard ??
I would guess only onboard but since they are so limited I would look at wdw before my cruise ??
Any of you find the DCL cahrams at WDW ??

They had some on the Wonder at Christmas. THe only ones I looked at were a cruise ship one and a Mickey head one, but there were probably others.

Soooo I was a B2B on the Dream in April and started a bracelet as a treat to myself during cruise #1- the DCL logo ship was joined by a few other beads (I told my husband that it was not proper to have just ONE bead ). Well, on cruise #2 I found a jeweler on Bay Street in Nassau (Guccini Jewelers) who sold Chamilia and started another bracelet!!! Their prices were the same as on the ship, but they had a wider selection (the sales person said that Chamilia sets the prices). The Disney collection is available everywhere, but you can only get the DCL logo ship bead on the ship- don't pass it up!

Has anyone been on a Disney Cruise lately and can tell me if the DCL logo Chamilia charm is still available? I'm not going on a Disney cruise anytime soon but wish there was a way to get one of these charms. I've seen one for sale on ebay for $99.99 but that seems a bit expensive since I recall seeing in a previous post that these charms sell for about $40 on the ship. If anyone knows of a way that I could buy one of these charms, please let me know.

I am very excited - but I would recommend that if you are getting it for a gift to get the Chamilla bracelet. I bought two charms and the bracelet. When i got home i decided to put it onto my Pandora. The charms wouldn't go over the 'hump'. I have a spacer there, and with the two Disney charms, I might be able to fit a third one (which WILL be the DCL one )
Just my opinion ....and i could be wrong.
DH offered to dremel out the charms to make them slide easier.

Oh my goodness! I want it sooo much! I would pay someone for it plus shipping if they bought it for me! ;-)

I was supposed to go on the Dream last week but something got in the way and had to cancel it (before they would charge us $$, thank goodness!) so i would have gotten it on there... silly life.. it seems to get in the way sometimes!

I have two "problems" with this charm and am hoping someone out there who is a Chamilia/Pandora pro could help me out. Thanks, in advance.

1. I really wanted to weaer this charm on a necklace. I waited to start collecting Pandora charms until AFTER our DCL cruise because I wanted to make sure the necklace I bought would work with the DCL charm. Well, the hole is through the middle of the ship, not in the top as with the generic cruise ship charm. So... when you hang it on a necklace, it flips upside down! Like a capsized ship! EEEK! Can't wear it like that, you know?!?! So... has anyone figured out a way to wear it on a necklace. That was the plan, along with buying a whole bunch more charms to go with it. But... it flips upside down! Weird.... Help?

2. The Pandora bracelets and necklaces have a "knobby" thing on the end of them that are bigger than the hole on the DCL charm, as the poster a few above was mentioning. I have been to the Pandora stores and the DCL charm does not fit on these necklaces/bracelets. The Chamilia necklaces I have found a really expensive. Am I missing something? I want to get a bunch of pandora charms taht related to my life with DH and wear them all on a necklace. But... am having issues doing this. Does anyone wearing this charm on a necklace?? If so, which one and how? Can you please give me a "how to" lesson on this? I am struggling to make it work... and it probably should not be this tough, right? Thank you thank you thank you!

I am not a pro, but would like to add that my DCL charm did fit onto my Pandora bracelet. It is a little tight getting over the "hump" but I did get it on, If I recall correctly, I had to angle it a little.
