It has been my dream to stay at the Contemporary Resort so I booked 2 of our 3 nights there for our quick "no more overnights for Mom celebration trip" which we took after our Maine vacation on July 27th!
We arrived at the CR at 1pm and were greeted by a manager who asked our name; once we told him, he walked us inside and chatted with us while we waited to check-in (well, we had done online check-in). Another very friendly female manager came and chatted with us for a few minutes and soon enough, we were at the counter. Of course it was too early to check in but the CM continued telling us about some of the information regarding the resort then she paused and asked us to turn around.
Standing behind us were 3 CM's holding balloons, a card and ready to take our picture! We were informed that we were choosen as family of the day and were presented with the balloons, Family of the Day Card and told we had been upgraded to Concierge Level with a Magic Kingdom view and yes, our room was ready! I was near tears as they took our picture and then told us our information as FOTD would be posted on the daily events board and we were escorted to the club to begin our amazing vacation with the most spectaular views of MK from both the club and our room. So awesome!! All [ictures taken on my iPod,a little sad since the quality isn't so great!
