Post your Disney Dining Plan snack credit PIX here!

well drooling over the pictures wont ruin my diet.... HOWEVER the list I am making for our trip.... :rolleyes1

Haha I hear that! I've been cutting since March for two NPC bodybuilding shows in August. Keto diet for 5 months is driving me insane, I think it's the reason I went with deluxe dining to purposely eat like a mad man in october lol.

Back to the OP-

Summer, I use all my snack credits on slushies or the chocolate covered banana's from the ice cream cart.

Any other time, it's just whatever my fat-kid mentality feels like eating at the time! popcorn::

Hey, SouthJersey. Thank you for your service to our country, and gald you came home safe. That is so nice your parents established at trip fund for you. Have a great time.

Now on to this language you speak. What is "cutting" and how did you do it in Afghanistan? What is the Keto diet, and how did you do it in Afghanistan?

Banana and Coke Goofy Glaciers from Goofy's Candy Co at DTD. The banana flavor was to die for!

Cross section of a Milk Chocolate covered caramel square from Goofy's. As you can see, it is a firm caramel (like the kind you use to make caramel apples) and not a runny caramel (like Ghirardelli caramel squares). I HAD to cut this up - it was so rich and delicious I could only eat a quarter of it at a time. It must weighed a pound! Hubby got one filled with peanut butter, the same size as this one!

More later! We go back in less than 50 days!

Hi ya folks!

I have the best excuse for being absent from the thread.

I was very busy painting, laying carpet and getting our huge home ready for sale. To my great surprise we sold it to the very first person who looked and at nearly asking price. Had closing on Wednesday and the auction of the furnishings of our 18 room home that we had lived in for 35 years. Luckily we had a parking lot nearby and friendly neighbors who let us use their space. A week later I packed what little was left of our belongings into the car and we headed to Florida. Found the most perfect place, fully furnished, great price and no, I did not have to force anyone else out with a foreclosure. We have been here a month now and am loving the place more each day. Our children and grandchildren are shocked that we moved but are looking forward to visiting.:)

The best part is going to be when we go for our annual Disney Christmas tour we will only have to drive a bit over an hour and can enjoy the parks arrival and departure day AND look forward to going back every few weeks afterward as the mood hits us.:thumbsup2

Thank you to everyone who has posted pics.

We return to the world on January 22nd for a week at Carribean Beach but this time EVERYONE in my DH's family is joining us. We lost FIL last fall and this is a trip so FAMILY can be together. 5 brothers, 2 sis-in-laws and 4 children. Will be fun as it may be our 15th trip but most of the others will be first timers.

We will all have the dining plan and I secured the table service restaurants but had not thought of snacks.....thanks again. Keep em coming.:woohoo:

Looks like some of these "Snacks" can be meals... or at least shared.

Looks good. Can't wait for our upcoming trip. Thanks everyone for the great "Snack" ideas!

This thread is just driving me effing nuts :headache: I must spend atleast $300 on snacks each Disney trip.

I got back from my Bahrain deployment last week, between Iraq, Afghanistan and this short Bahrain embassy stint, I've been getting all of my trips ruined! I'm finally done though, so it's on!

The people of Disney will be disgusted with me as usual :rolleyes1. The last NPC show I compete in is usually mid-September, so dieting season + pre-contest for me will be over for about 3 weeks so I can go be a pig and still look in shape for atleast that week lol.

Confectionery on Main Street is going DOWN in 8 months! Mwuauahuaha

Hey, sorry I just actually saw this response when I was going through the snacks. I'm sure your subsribed here, so I'll still answer :)

Cutting, I just mean cutting weight. I've competed in NPC level bodybuilding shows on the east coast after I graduated highschool. So from about mid-January on, I start 'cutting'. I adjust my diet so it consists 55-60% protein 20-25% good carbs and less than 15% of calories from healthy fats. When I get closer to summer, I start 'keto' dieting, just high protein, moderate-higher healthy fats and LOW carb.

In Afghanistan, I never got to do it. Canned food, MRE's, fruit cups, granola bars etc. I left at about 230 lbs around 13%bodyfat, came home 198lbs and 8-10% bodyfat :sad2:

(Sorry that one is out of focus... I'd had a few too many drinks around the World Showcase when I took that!)

So basically what this thread has taught me is to shower, skip breakfast and head right to the parks. Plenty of good snacky breakfast options. And the sugar high will keep you going until lunch. Can't wait!!!!
