Not a hurricane......tropical storm. While there is cause for concern, no need to panic. Any possible damage will be fixed long before you sail.

Also a Tropical storm most likely will not cause any more damage that a strong thunder storm. Could mess up the day for vistors today however.

The only thing the DCL will not be able to magically repair is the plant life. That just takes time. Any damage to structures caused by storms this season will be repair and the island will be ready and waiting to greet you next April.

It is moving well away from CC.

It looks like 35 MPH winds today. That should not do much damage. But thats will be pretty windy for the people there today. WE SAIL TOMORROW!!! We will be on Castaway Cay on Wed.

It looks like it's moving away, but it also looks like it was just there. I do hope it stays away from the Florida coast as it is expected to do. ::yes::

AS a south florida resident, we dont even get concerned till the storm is above a category 2, anything below that we dont even shutter up, all it is alot of rain, and some wind, dont let the name tropical storm or cat 1 hurricane scare you THEY ARE NOTHING....

Never pooh-pooh any storm. A tropical storm can dump a ton of rain. Here in Central FL tropical storm Fay from 2008 left a lot of people flooded out of their homes.

Good advice...Lottie Hurricane Erin left Pensacolanin the dark for about a week...and Tropical Storm Danny sat over Mobile Bay for over 24 hours dumping heavy rain non stop.
