I get this ALL THE TIME, as I'm sure all of do. Sometimes, oddly enough, it stumps me. I don't really know how to answer. Some of my responses:

"I LOVE the feeling I get every time I walk through the turn style"
"It's more than an amusement park to me. I love the atmosphere"
"DUH, because it's FUUUN"

How do you all respond to this question when you get it?

1. I get to be the kid I didn't get to be as a child
2. Work is stressful so this is my way of letting the magic take me away
3. There is so much to do even after 25 times I haven't seen it all yet
4. It's a great place to go when you can't get others to go on other vacations you would like to take, so you come" home" where you know where everything is and you can be yourself and just BE!

We just love it, so why wouldn't we go back?

Looove it!! I live in Springfield, and Branson is mostly a shopping destination to me

I sometimes feel that I don't want these people to catch Disney fever....it might make it less crowded for me if they all go to Branson instead!!

i've been going to WDW every year since 1974 - sometimes multiple times a year....

so in 37 years, you can imagine the number of times this question/statement/ridicule has been tossed my way....

i used to answer, but now i don't bother....it doesn't matter what i would say, it won't make a difference....

it's sort of like with prices - "if you have to ask, you can't afford.."

in this case, if they have to ask, they're not going to understand, so why bother...

they really are just jealous.....
their ridicule is covering their envy that we enjoy something in our lives so much....and not only do we enjoy it, we enjoy it together as a family........

so i just ignore them....
