Show Me the Cupcakes!!!

Yep, I saw it the other day. Don't think I'd order it but it looks kinda cute.

Is defo cute, but am with you not sure if I would try it. Looks like it could be sweet icing overload (but the marzipan type if you know what I mean) :)

Oh my I can't wait to try the red velvet cupcake. We have been going to Disney for several years now and I never knew about these cupcakes until now. 19 days and I get a red velvet cupcake. :yay:

After reading through this thread, I'm switching TO the DxDP just to get more cupcakes!! :thumbsup2

Unfortunately chances are if you go with DxDP you will be too full to enjoy many cup cakes :rotfl: I had a list of snacks *including cupcakes* and we were just too full to buy hardly any snacks except for bottled waters. We ended up go to the gift shop to unload them all before the end of the trip.

Last July, we tried the Butterfinger cupcake and the white chocolate cupcake from Starring Rolls. The boys loved the white chocolate one. The Butterfinger one is good, but way too much frosting. I would definitely feel sick if I ate the whole thing, but I know a lot of people who would have no problem finishing it! ;) I bought them in the early afternoon just before heading back to BWV. They are definitely knife-and-forkers! :rotfl2:

Our DVC home is BWV...can't wait to try some of their newer cupcakes...but not going back until July 2012! I hope they still have the Oreo one when we go back...it looks heavenly, and is the best of both worlds, oreo and cake!

I am definitely going to try the cupcakes in the new caramel shop in Germany! I want to try the chocolate one and the yellow one also!

We don't do the dining plan, but I think the cupcakes are definitely worth the price OOP. $4 for something that can easily be shared between 2 people (or more) seems very reasonable to me!

to everyone that's posted a picture of one of these MOST fabulous cupcakes.... I LOVE YOU!!! :rotfl2: this is THE most fun thread to hop on.... when we went last Sept for our first family trip, I completely forgot to get a cupcake. :scared1: I know... I don't know what came over me. too much excitement I guess.

next trip, there WILL be cupcakes !! :yay:

I read that the Boardwalk Bakery no longer had their peanut butter cake...

which was by far the best dessert on property...

So I am wondering if anyone had this cake (Oh.my.gosh. on the cupcake thread...:lmao:) and ALSO had either the peanut butter cupcake from Boardwalk Bakery

the one from Starring Rolls.

I am looking for a replacement for my beloved cake- and heck, the cupcake form is simply a cooler option!

Have had the BW cake and Starring Rolls cupcake.

The BW cake was much better - not that much PB flavor in the Starring Rolls cupcake, and that's what I was looking for (PB flavor).

You are all so very, very wicked! So many cupcakes, so little time (only 8 days next trip - gotta have PH just to get into DHS to pick up my fix.) The first time I got a choc/peanutbutter from starring rolls I almost dropped it. Deceivingly heavy! Confession time -after reading every page in this thread, I got a dreadful craving and ate a fudge poptart :guilty: bleh!- what was I thinking?

havnt gone through the whole thread so i may be asking something that has already been asked......
any cupcakes in dtown disney.

I'm sorry if this has already been asked. I didn't read the whole thread. If on the DDP and you get lunch at starring rolls, can you get one of these cupcakes as a dessert??

 Moment of temporary cupcake insanity, no doubt! :rotfl:

Does anyone have a pic of the kid's spaghetti & meatball cupcake from Mama Melrose? Tried doing a search and wasn't have much luck. :confused3

Here's one that made me giggle when we were there last fall:

It was at Main Street Bakery.

I also tried the yellow cake cupcakes from Main Street Bakery, they were delicious! Though the blue icing turning my mouth blue :lmao:

subscribing...I need to check this out in more detail and make notes before we go in March!:cloud9:

I agree with this assessment. I'm so sad they no longer have the pb cake at BW bakery - the frosting was SOOO good. Well, at least I got to try it once.

I love  this thread and can NOT wait to try a couple of these cupcakes when I get there in August!!!
