1. What is your name?::

April 2010
4. When is the next time you will be in Disney World?::

GETTING THERE
5. How do you usually get to to Disney World?::
99% of the time, we fly. I have driven down 4 times. It is about a 17 hour drive straight through - I don't stop!
6. What do you do to pass the time while getting there?::
BK (Before Kids) I would read a book, flip through the Sky Mall Catalog (love this!) or watch TV, if flying Jet Blue. With kids, usually getting up and down out of my seat to take them to the restroom, show them how to wear headphones, fix the headphones, find a show on TV for them to watch, and pick up crayons off the floor
7. Do you have any particularly memorable or interesting experiences you can recall happening on your journey to Disney World?::
One time, we didn't remember if we locked our front door and had to call our neighbor to check; another time we stayed at a hotel airport since we had an early flight; DD fell out of bed and got a rug burn on her nose; oh and my divorce was finalized 13 days before a trip and the trip was to celebrate!
LODGING
8. What is your favorite place you have stayed at and why? It does not have to be on property::
We are DVC members, so for the past 18 years have been staying at one of those locations. However, my favorite was staying at the Contemporary in the A frame with a view of the Castle. I was 13 years old and would wake up in the middle of the night just to look out on the balcony. I would love to stay there again (currently waitlisted for BLT). OKW is our home away from home but I do like SSR and BW as well.
9. What is your least favorite place you have stayed at and why? (It doesn't necessarily have to be a bad place, it's just that maybe out of all your list of favorites, this would be your least favorite)::
Off-site, specifically Marriott Harbour Lake. ExDH purchased the timeshare and it just wasn't the same as being in Disney.
MAGIC KINGDOM
10. What is your favorite attraction in the MK?
My all time favorite is POTC, even before the movies. It is our family's official first attraction of our trips. Rounding out the top 4 are Haunted Mansion, Cinderella's Golden Carousel, and Jungle Cruise (met an exBF on that ride and have fond memories of that skipper!)
11. What is your least favorite attraction in the MK?
Stitch's Great Escape. I also wasn't fond of it as Alien Encounter although I thought Skippy was cute!
12. Tell me a random memory you have involving the MK.
Going back to how I met the above mentioned Jungle Cruise Skipper, I went on 3 times in a row, waiting on line each time and waiting for his boat to talk to him. Finally he let me stay on his boat another 3 times and then hung out in the park after he was off!
13. What is your favorite place to eat in the MK?
Cosmic Ray's for QS; The Plaza and Cinderella's Royal Table for TS.
EPCOT
14. What is your favorite attraction in Epcot?
I cannot say that I have one particular favorite, but I do enjoy spending most of my time in Epcot around World Showcase, especially Morocco, France, Japan, Italy, and Germany
15. What is your least favorite attraction in Epcot?
Captain EO, saw it back when, didn't like it then, won't like it now
16. Tell me a random memory you have involving Epcot.
My family (BK - before Kids) went to Mexico for dinner. My grandmother had a margarita and a Mexican coffee during the course of the meal. No biggie, right? Well, she is 5 foot nothing and 125lbs soaking wet. She couldn't walk straight, but she wanted to go on 'the boat ride' Since we were a large group, we had the boat to ourselves. In her tipsy state, she swore that someone was rocking the boat and began yelling, "No rocking the boat! It's gonna tip!" We tease her about it till today.
17. What is your favorite place to eat in Epcot?
Chefs de France - my favorite restaurant in WDW!
18. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase?
Morocco. It is so exotic and I love looking at the trinkets in the shops, and sometimes even getting a henna tattoo!
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
19. What is your favorite attraction in HS?
HS is my least favorite park of the 4. My favorite attraction would be ToT, followed by Muppets, then RnR.
20. What is your least favorite attraction in HS?
TSM. I know, blasphemy! I'm not an arcade/video game person, so I don't mind missing it.
21. Tell me a random memory you have involving HS.
On DD's first trip, we were on line to meet Sorcerer Mickey. When it was our turn, Mickey got down on his knee and had me place 7 month old DD in his lap. The pictures are priceless!
22. What is your favorite place to eat in HS?
I'm not a fan of the eateries here. I enjoyed Brown Derby when I did Dining with an Imagineer, but the last 2 trips, the food selections haven't been too impressive for me. I think Sci-Fi is fun for the atmosphere.
22a. What is your least favorite place to eat in HS?
Hollywood & Vine

During the last 4 years, yes. They are quite entertaining and I regret never paying much attention to them in the past.

25. What is your least favorite attraction in the AK?
Primeval Whirl
26. Tell me a random memory you have involving the AK.
I was seated next to a couple with "First Visit" Pins on the safari. When we entered the savannah area, there were giraffes very close to the side of the rode. The young woman said to her DH/BF, "The giraffes are so lifelike!"
27. What is your favorite place to eat in the AK?
Tusker House for breakfast; Flame Tree BBQ for QS.

I have been to BB and TL. I prefer TL for the wave pool and swimming with the sharks.

Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool! I haven't been in quite a while, so I cannot say how the water coaster is or anything.
30. Have you been to Disney Quest?
Yes.
31. What was your favorite thing about Disney Quest?
I'm not a video game person, so I don't remember much about it. It didn't appeal to me at all. I do remember an Aladdin magic carpet type thing and some kind of kayaking thing, but as you can see from these brilliant descriptions, it didn't impress me much.

Main St. Electrical Parade; Aladdin's Royal Caravan Parade at MGM/DHS.

43. Who is your favorite Disney female?
Maleficent
44. Who is your favorite Disney male?
Big Bad Wolf.
45. Who is your favorite Disney villain?
Maleficent. I think she is probably one of, if not the most evil of the Disney Villains, yet there is something very intriguing about her.
46. Your earliest Disney Park Memory::
Finishing every night by riding the carousel.
47. What other Disney Parks have you been to outside of Disney World?
Disneyland. I have been twice, with a possible trip next summer. My dream would is to go on an "Around the Disney World" trip, hitting each park around the globe.
48. Have you ever had to explain your love for Disney to someone who just didn't "get" it?
I don't waste my time. If they don't have the Disney love, it's their loss!
49. Blasphemous I know, but where is your favorite place to travel outside of Disney?
Most trips are to Disney, but I have traveled to England and Scotland. I would love to travel through more of Europe, see Australia, and visit the birthplaces of my grandparents in Sicily.
50. Which Disney character reminds you of you?
Wow! This is a hard one. I have some traits of Megara due to my divorce and her problems with love; like Belle I enjoy reading; I was a philosophy major and can babble on like Ludwig Von Drake, or create illogical circular arguments like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum; umm... I could go on, but I'll stop here.
